What I loved most about my maternity pics is that Irene has several dresses to pick from to give you several looks. Who wants to go out and purchases several maternity dresses?? She has an excellent selection and is adding dresses to her collection. All of my pictures turned out great the hardest part was deciding which ones to print! My newborn shoot went so smoothly. Before arriving I filled out a form and what I wanted in my pictures. Irene took that interest form and put together a set up I wouldn't have even thought about incorporating into pictures. When I walked in for my session everything was set up for each shoot. I loved that she had the order planned out and got him dressed so that she could go from shot to shot easily. I first met Cat at a wedding show when we were looking for a photographer for my sister's wedding. I loved her work and she made an instantly good impression on me! So much so that 6 months later when I got engaged and needed a photographer for my own wedding, I knew that I wanted her - but since we had been so engrossed in planning my sister's wedding, I couldn't for the life of me remember her company's name to reach out. I knew what I wanted though, so my mom and I went to 5 different wedding shows to try to re-find her. We were getting to the point where my dad was telling me that my wedding was getting too close and that we would just have to find someone else or we would risk not having pictures, when my mom and I walked into a wedding show at America's Center and immediately looked at each other and excitedly, near screamed, "That's her!" We went straight up to the booth and booked her. Leading up to the wedding the communication with her was fabulous. We had a wonderful engagement session with beautiful photos. We met with her to have a planning meeting prior to our day and that took so much stress off my shoulders. She is so wonderfully organized - the plan/timeline she mapped out was flawless and a completely reasonable wedding timeline (not leaving dead space, but also not jam packing in unnecessary things) and we were able to share it with our venue, DJ, videographer, etc. All of them commented on how helpful it was for them and how well put together it was. While she made suggestions on pictures we could get based on her experience, we were never once pressured by her to do or not do any of the pictures that we wanted (or didn't want). The day of the wedding everything ran so smoothly! I was completely taken aback because with a big event like this you expect something, somewhere to go wrong, but I think back and really can't think of anything. All our vendors were aligned and on the same page with events and timelines, thanks to Cat! We got in every photo we wanted, plus some, and friends and family have raved over how good they are! There is literally not a single photo out of all of them she took that I dislike. Getting the download link for instant photo access, and also the personalized USB keepsake with all the photos, is also a nice touch! Something that I don't recall seeing many others offer. I think it's also worth mentioning that my experience with Cat was a major change from my sister's experience with her wedding photographer a couple months earlier - she went with a different photographer and her day was a mess. I, as her Maid of Honor and sister, had to actually take charge of the wedding timeline (the morning of her wedding while we were all also trying to get ready!) and direct her photographer to make sure she got what she wanted because he was upsetting her so much. Needless to say, after my wedding and seeing how smooth it went and how amazing the pictures turned out, my sister said numerous times that she should have gone with Cat. My parents have also said numerous times that she should have gone with Cat. My mom is still trying to get my sister's wedding photos off of dropbox which from the time it was sent has never fully worked correctly. I also don't think her pictures turned out as good... I don't completely know because there are some she won't even show me, just stating that they were "bad" - confirmed by my mom even. Of the ones I saw there were some good ones and some ok ones, so not a total loss. But to have "bad" ones that you don't even want to show your own sister? And her photographer cost more! Not something to dwell on for us as what happened has already happened, but hopefully this helps someone else to avoid her messy wedding day photographer scenario and make the right choice up front. Obviously loving the photos is a must (which we do!), but Cat's attitude, organization, and professionalism is also so valuable. Things I don't think are always thought of when looking for a photographer. We've kept in touch with Cat since our wedding. When we tell friends about her, we tell them we've made her our official family photographer - and she has been just that! A few weeks ago my husband and I had a maternity shoot with her at Bee Tree Park. No surprise, we love the pictures! They are so special to us during this special time for us, soon welcoming our first born together. We'll be reaching out to Cat for even more pictures in the future! All this being said, don't hesitate, choose Cat - she won't disappoint!!

Her style is very natural -- nothing feels or looks forced. Lots of great artistic photos of the room, environment, etc. She is great at organizing the wedding party and family to get through photos quickly so everyone can enjoy the reception. My first session with XOXO Alice was in 2018; it was purchased as a wedding gift for my husband. I…read morehad lost 100 pounds over the course of our relationship and was super nervous to have boudoir photos done because of how embarrassed I was by the loose skin that I had all over my body. I imagined options for outfits and poses would be very limited, and I would spend the whole time nervous as heck and hating myself. The super detailed instructions to prepare for the session were the first thing to set my mind at ease. I was glad to know I only had to personally bring SOME of the outfits I wanted to wear but that there was a full wardrobe of varying sizes waiting for me. I was greeted on the morning of the shoot by one of her kitty cats, which immediately made me feel more at ease. The conversation held between myself, Alecia, and the make-up artist that morning to determine the kind of photos we wanted to shoot was eye-opening and very information, though I felt like a shy newbie not having the answer on-hand when I showed up. Alecia used creative methods to get me the best shots possible and made me feel more at ease throughout the course of the day by cracking jokes to make me laugh and just have general conversation about shared interests (specifically pet birds). By the end of the day, I had come to love how my body was portrayed in a way I never knew was possible. The directions she gave throughout the shoot were kind and specific so that she got the exact bodily post and expression that she needed. My husband could not have been happier with the photos, and I will always cherish the self-esteem boost I left with. The second shoot I had was vastly different than my first. It took place in early 2022 while I was still scared witless about catching COVID-19. She had a process in place requiring each client to take a rapid test in their car prior to the session to confirm a negative result. This made me feel much safer considering she was the first person  outside my family and close friends that I would spend a day around maskless since the pandemic began.  Some relevant background information includes something that developed over the course of time since the initial photoshoot: this included the onset of chronic (nearly constant) pain in my neck, shoulders, and upper and lower back that is greatly flared by too much motion of my joints that were weakened by illness and major surgery recovery. I was nervous as all get-out to reach out to Alecia to see if I could request a session (via one of her model-calls on her Facebook page) thinking that I would be too hard to work with due to my physical limitations. Remembering how much I had to move or bend during the first session, I thought it would be impossible to have a similar experience again. My weak and painful body had driven me to hatred and depression because my body had all but given up on me. I had also put on a teensy bit of weight due to my inability to exercise. Alecia assured me that she could work with me to show me that my body wasn't to be hated and was confident that she could use feedback given by myself during the session to ensure she didn't cause an excess of pain. She ended up discussing my changing life situation while makeup and hair were being handled. Not only did she make me feel like a "normal" person regardless of my illnesses and pain, she made sure I knew that she saw me as no less of a woman or model. She did a lot of moving and shifting to accommodate my decreased abilities of motion and took my inability to stand for long periods of count all into ability when choosing the outfits and poses. We even made a sort of silly game out of taking water breaks since I am required to drink far more water than most people; she was sure to take a water break whenever I did and made sure I ate when I needed to. I was so shocked by the resulting images and felt like she helped me along the first step of accepting my new disability by taking myself for how I am and not just hating my own existence. I know this may seem like a little much to come out of a boudoir photography session, but she has a magical way of seeing everyone she photographs the way they need to be and deserve to be seen. I am already saving up for my next photo shoot! The first one was for my significant other, but all additional ones are purely for me!
