They made the entire process easy and comfortable, and I felt well taken care of from the moment I arrived. Everything was explained clearly and the staff checked on me frequently to make sure I was ok. They started off with lower intensity and increased the intensity to one that was tolerable. The office was spotless and the results were fantastic. My teeth look brighter and I left feeling so happy with the outcome, just in time for a wedding this weekend. They gave me post-treatment instructions to take care of my teeth to maintain the teeth whitening. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring team and beautiful results!!

I'm ashamed to say that I waited way too long between cleanings and had a sneaking suspicion that I needed a deep clean. Being a new small business owner who no longer has the luxury of dental insurance, I researched alternatives to paying the $800 out of pocket and discovered Pima. I called to make an appointment and a very nice lady informed me of the process - the initial exams, x rays, and regular cleanings were only about $20 and the deep cleaning is about $10 per quadrant (or $40 total). The only catch -- every step of the process is very time consuming because trained students are working on you and having an instructor approve their work every step of the way. The lady I spoke with told me that the initial exam would take a couple of hours and that the deep clean would be completed in quadrants on different days with each quadrant taking up to a few hours as well. In other words... I was looking at investing either a total of 10-12 hours or paying $800 out of pocket. I'm really glad that I opted for the latter! YES, it does take as much time as they say but you'll know that each step has been carefully performed and double checked. Unfortunately, I don't remember the young lady's name who did my initial visit but Emily Martin did my cleaning and she was amazing! Very thorough, very skilled, and very knowledgeable. She worked efficiently each session and was very diligent about making sure my mouth was CLEAN, CLEAN. I would absolutely recommend Pima Institute to anybody who can spare some time and is looking to save significant money on some routine dental procedures. The staff is super friendly, the students are great, and you can feel good knowing you did your wallet a favor and helped someone to graduate!

I eventually had a short interview, but the audio and video quality on their end made it hard to follow, it was choppy and blurry the whole time. I also thought, crap, now I have to pay more for ortho supplies! Sure enough after just a short time, Henry Schein Orthodontics stopped selling brackets by the piece. You now have to order brackets by sets of 10! Their excuse: New packaging laws or Re-Packaged Items. I think they just forgot to mention CORPORATE GREEDINESS. They said Dr. Rahman was late because it was the first day of school (which later changed to his baby crying - not sure why that prevented him showing up.) I told them I was expecting the other doctor and that I was not comfortable with Dr. Rahman - he is rude and has a terrible bedside manner. They said he was the only doctor doing surgery and that if I was uncomfortable I should go elsewhere. I said that was OK, I'd wait for him. When he finally shows up an hour late, he sends his secretary out to tell me to go elsewhere. My tooth is infected and hurting so I begged them to do the work. She refused. I was angry and slammed the door as I exited. Docotr Rahman then came charging into the hallway calling me m*****f***** and I should behave. He got in my face, kicked me, and pushed me. I told him I was going to call the police. He answered "Call them M*****F*****" As there were no witnesses they just took a report and left it at that. And they are still charging my insurance company for the work preventing me from getting this done elsewhere as they have used up all my benefits. The man has a severe anger problem as well as a poor command of English. I should have seen this coming!

He prided himself on having some of the best pricing in the area but how about telling people the cost beforehand as well? Thank God I know how to speak up for myself because they weren't gonna give me a breakdown of the costs or tell me that there were no financing options until AFTER receiving my dental work. Dr. Bisquerra said this explicitly to me.Talk about trapping someone into something. I was literally in the chair with numbing cream on when I realized they had told me they were gonna bill my insurance but they never specified how much. I asked for a breakdown before proceeding and the lady looked at me like I had 5 heads. She then informed me that I would have to pay out of pocket today and there were no financing options. I thought to myself so... when were you gonna tell me this?... after I get my work done?? lol The lady at the front will probably argue and say that she told me about finances because she told me they would bill me in full and then refund based on insurance but no one let me know any costs. They could have charged me whatever they wanted and I would have been at their mercy if I didn't speak up. I guess that's just what they are betting on. That people for some reason won't feel comfortable asking for a full breakdown of prices before proceeding with dental work. I then chose not to proceed with them due to their lack of communication and transparency. They DEMANDED that I pay for my scans that they of course had not told me the cost of. $416 because I chose not to move forward with them and they did not inform me of costs beforehand. When I disputed the scans charges with them they become hostile, specifically Dr. Bisquerra. He would not let me speak to express my concerns, was constantly interrupting and was incredibly arrogant. I was trying to just have a conversation and they refused because they did not want to take any accountability for their actions. It was easier to make me look like the villain and the psycho arguing because I knew it was wrong. One of the younger workers even smirked thinking me being Stern with them with comical apparently. Needless to say I called her out on it and that smirk disappeared real fast. I think that says all you need to know about the type of workers here. I was recommended this place by my dentist who I respect and LOVE but 10/10 would NOT recommend!! Staff is unfriendly, arrogant, not willing to work with you and as we've already discussed in length not transparent with finances. Which is the main reason for this review. If you do choose to go here just make sure you explicitly ask for a breakdown of costs BEFORE even going back because they did not provide it (for me at least) without being prompted. This review is from my own personal, honest but negative experience. In no way is it intended to defame or sabotage this business. Only to share an experience that is unique to me. This office was in my network and I was charged out of network prices. She told me it had to be that way. I called my insurance and they told me she shouldn't have done that. The woman at the front desk gave me price quotes for an oral surgery I would need and didn't give me the prices agreed upon with my insurance. There was a 400+ dollar difference. My insurance told me her price quotes were incorrect. Her explanation was that she couldn't give me the correct price quotes until payment was due( meaning after my surgery). I found that hard to believe since she had already had an opportunity to charge me my in network price for the consult and had not done so. So why should I expect the same for my surgery? The last thing that set me off was that my insurance was told to send my refund from the consult to the office of the specialists. Why wouldn't they send the money directly back to me? When I called and asked the woman at the front she claimed to not know why. She was condescending from start to finish and if I had went through with the surgery with these specialists I would be waiting for 500 + dollars ( 100 + from consult and 400+ from surgery) in the mail for weeks from an incompetent front desk manager.
