I believe there are a couple other businesses that compliment yoga use the space - think massage, reiki, etc. Props like blocks and blankets are available for use during classes. Class types vary by day and instructor. Register online for classes, various reasonably priced packages available.

The studio has a vibe of history, culture, and love- as it happens to be in a historical/vintage style space. The classes are held at very convenient times, with a great selection of yoga styles offered. The classes are affordable, I choose to purchase bundle packages to save even more money- and it's absolutely worth it, as your inner peace is priceless. I've been attending Candlelight Yin, and Restorative Yin. I have also attended a glorious sound bath, super cool and had no idea how soothing it would be! Since attending in January 2024 I have found the best relief from years of built up tension, chronic pain, depression and anxiety. I wasn't doing well. I tried therapy but it just wasn't what I needed to fully heal. It healed my superficial mind, but my subconscious mind and My BODY was still craving relief. Yoga was what I needed. There was so much internal tension, everything was unbalanced. Now I am calm, have a sense of purpose, im grateful, feel in line with myself. It's been a tremendous benefit to me.

This place great…read more I confess, I've only been there once, but I am going back!! I live nowhere near there... I live near Midway Airport. I have searched and searched the south side for yoga options near my house and have found slim pickings. I used to go to Global Yoga Center when I lived up north, so I have developed expectations about what environment should be like when I practice yoga. BYC totally met those expectations. I dropped in on a Sunday evening Yin class, which was totally new to me. (BYC has descriptions of all of its classes on its website). They have a bunch of workshops coming up and I am excited about doing a couple of those. It's a clean, peaceful and friendly place. And unlike the north side, parking was plentiful. For me, it is well worth a 1/2 hour drive to get there for a yoga fix.

oftentimes, i get to relive a favorite childhood activity with my three year old - swinging so high…read more(i scare myself), playing tag (and rarely being "it"), coloring outside the lines (on purpose), eating stuff that is usually "meant" for kiddie consumption, etc... but i also find myself living vicariously through my three year old. sometimes because i just can't physically do the things she does - like yoga poses at the beverly yoga center. now, admittedly, i've never been to another yoga center so, i can't really compare the beverly yoga center with any others. but, i can tell you what i do know. the main space seems small but it's open, bright, sunny, welcoming and calming. the hardwood floors look very new and are very clean. except for one wall, it's mostly windows. but, since you're on the second floor, all you see is sky, a roof here and there and tree branches. they do have air conditioning and fans which were great when we had that heat wave. there are little cubbies when you walk in the door for your personal items. and there's a very clean, private, modern bathroom towards the back of the space. they have mats and other equipment for student use. and for extra brownie points, they don't bat an eye, when i have to break out a boob to feed my son. carley, the director was very helpful and proactive when i tried to sign my daughter up for classes when the center's phones were out of order. we played phone tag forever, but she was never impatient or annoyed about it. she's very friendly and "genuine". my daughter's teacher, adenia, is truly awesome. she has a talent for teaching children, keeping them interested, allowing them to express themselves physically and verbally, always engaging their imaginations, etc... she's very patient and kind and always happy to encourage with hugs. and she's probably as flexible as gumby. :) the center has a bevy of classes for all levels - for beginning to advanced students, toddlers to octogenarians. so, if you're interested you should check them out. in some ways, the beverly neighborhood looks like it's playing catch up with the northside neighborhoods. so, i have to applaud and encourage carley and the beverly yoga center for taking a chance on the beverly community and anchoring their center here. i know as soon as our youngest is a little older, i'll be signing up for a beginners class as well. maybe i'll see you there! :)

The sense of community is incredible, and everyone--from the instructors to the members--is so kind, supportive, and encouraging. Every teacher is exceptional, and I love the variety of classes they offer. Whether I'm looking for a challenging workout, a restorative practice, or simply a space to reset, there's always a class that meets me where I am. The gong baths are hands down the best I've ever experienced--they're deeply relaxing and unlike anything else I've found. As a female-owned studio, you can truly feel the care, intention, and heart that's been poured into every aspect of the space. It's more than just a yoga studio; it's a place where I feel safe, grounded, and genuinely happy. This studio has been a bright spot in my life, and I'm so grateful to be part of this community. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

I have deep love and appreciation for this yoga studio. I've been coming here for years and if I lived locally would be a monthly member in a heartbeat. This studio is an amazing blend of east-west approach to yoga, emphasizing that yoga is a lifestyle that we bring into our daily lives long after leaving the mat. The teachers are amazing and the space is very calming. I've released a lot of emotions over the years of classes I've taken here. The classes range from fitness to meditation to holistic healing and sometimes a combination of all 3 of those. Also have loved the circles that I've done in the past. I was so surprised that a yoga studio like this exists in Homer glen--worth a long drive just to come to any of their classes or workshops!
