Sometimes my lower back hurts just laying on the ground so her class gave me support in a way with the props so I can really relax my body. I was greeted when I came in by Nancy. She gave me instructions on what props to bring in by the best of her memory since sometimes the instructor changes it up. I thought for a hot yoga studio. They did make sure to cool down the room very fast for restorative yoga. I've been at other hot yoga studios where the room was still hot like you were doing a hot yoga and I didn't want that sweat. I just really wanted the stretch. I'm definitely going to come back!

She also sends me useful information that is relevant to my situation outside of the healing sessions. She is warm and caring. I took a free class in July 2025 before going out of town, and even then, I knew I wanted to join…read more When I returned, I was ready to commit because I missed being around people and had grown bored with working out alone. I completed the on-ramp classes with Coach Craig. I had done CrossFit back in Chicago in 2018, so I definitely needed a refresher. Coach Craig was amazing, he took his time explaining each movement step by step, provided accommodations when certain exercises didn't work for me, and used great analogies and perspectives that helped everything click. He has a great spirit and makes learning feel comfortable and encouraging. In October, I started running again by joining the run club, completing 3.41 miles at my own pace. I used to run years ago with a group of women running on the Lake Shore Drive and really enjoyed it, so it felt good to get back into that space. I currently attend the 5:00 a.m. class so I can stretch afterward and still have time to get home and get ready for work. I've also really enjoyed the 6:00 a.m. class with Coach Estefani. She always greets you with a smile, asks how you're doing or how your weekend was, reviews proper form, and gives helpful feedback. She consistently pushes you to go harder and lift heavier in the best way. Estefani encouraged me to join the run club, attend DEKA training classes, and even sign up for my first DEKA race. Even when I give her the side eye during certain workouts or tell myself I can't do a move, she always reminds me to try first or offers a modification. I also love hearing her fitness and race stories they inspire me and make me believe that maybe I can do those things too. The other coaches are great as well. Overall, this gym has an amazing community where people genuinely encourage and support one another.

Our family loves this place…read more My kids have been taking the children's aikido class there since mid-summer and it's amazing. My little one started out as a very timid 4yr old - the teachers worked with her at her own pace and now she is confident and comfortable in class and couldn't be prouder that she recently moved up to an orange belt. My older daughter has taken to the class and the routine with ease. The sensei's (sp??) are all fantastic with the kids. Really, it's amazing. They start by teaching the kids how to roll and how to stretch - very comfortable tasks to break into something new. The class always ends with a fun game of some sort and then the kids get to take a second with Sensei in a circle after class and have a quick group chat about how school is coming along or about who had a hard spelling test that week. It's hard to describe what it is exactly that makes the place so welcoming and such a perfect environment for the kids. I just know that I couldn't ask for better.
