I went to the quick lane service dept for an oil change and discussed two recalls with the advisor. Oil change was completed but the advisor was unsure about performing the recalls. So I went over to the service dept. The place had no customers at the time but the three advisors appeared to have their asses super glued to their chairs as no one came out to greet me. So I went inside and inquired about the recalls. The advisor tried to punt the job back to the quick lane and then he told me it was 5 to 7 days to look at my truck. I left and then went to the collision center to inquire about a small knick on my door. The lady there was of no help nor could she locate anyone else. Go figure! Way to go Ronnie ! read more

When I need something done with my Escape, I head here even though it's actually the furthest Ford dealership from where I live (Uptown). To start, the people are friendly. I was greeted as soon as I pulled in to the service lane, which is pretty much the opposite of what happened when I went to Veterans Ford and had to wander around for a while before eventually stumbling across someone. I had an internet coupon for "The Works" oil change, which came to around $45 after tax before a $10 mail in rebate; considering they used synthetic oil and did a tire rotation and multi point inspection, that's a bargain for a dealership oil change. They had the work done in under an hour. I need to get some minor body work done to one of my bumpers, and while they don't do any kind of paint/body work here, they were more than happy to recommend several body shops in the area, not just the one they have a preferred relationship with. Definitely come here over Veterans Ford, at least for service. I've heard their sales staff is great as well. read more

I think it would be fair to give a star if work was actually done. Strap in you will need a seatbelt, hopefully not an airbag, for this one. So I bring my vehicle in for a recall on the airbag. Note this is 3 weeks after the appointment was setup. Yesterday I get a reminder call to make sure I'm coming in, that is where all professionalism started and ended (if only I would have known.) I say, "yes I'm still coming in, what is the time table for this?" I was told ALL DAY. I was completely surprised. I said it's just the passenger airbag, not both. I was told; it's still going to be all day. Good to know, the day before that I will be without a vehicle for an entire day. Whatever, I made it work; I drop it off to them around 830(9am appointment). I said please let me know when it's done so I can coordinate my ride to bring me here. "OK, will do", the service advisor, said. At 130pm, no call, so I wanted to see if they have a time frame...no one answers. No big deal, around lunchtime, understandable. 230 Call again...No answer. 315.... this time the operator and I are on a fist name basis and we even shared astrology signs and our opinions on the upcoming Russian election. We laughed and cried and finally she let me go and said, "I'll get your service advisor to call you ASAP". Around 3:45 I get a call...to tell me.... MY CAR HASN'T BEEN TOUCHED YET. Oh really? It's been there near 8 hours, it rightfully deserves a lunch break and benefits. "Oh sorry, we've been backed up..." That was what I was told. My job, ironically, is to find cars afflicted with these airbags for a different make of vehicle. I've witnessed A driver and passenger airbag be taken out and replaced in 8 minutes. Now I understand, Different makes, it could longer, and Don Bohn took 2 hours on driver side when they did it months ago. So I come pick up my vehicle, recall airbag still intact, ill be sure to have my friends and family ride in the trunk of my mustang, because it would literally be safer. I gather my composure, leave and call VETERANS Ford. I gave them the short and sweet, and my 1 star experience in Kenner. They said the passenger airbag takes 45 mins - maybe 60 TOPS. I said, great sign me up. But go easy on my car, it has been more neglected than "turn off your cell phone sign" in a Tyler Perry movie. This was the worst experience of my life buying a 2013 f150 from these people. The truck had an air leak on the windshield, a broken tailgate latch and the radiator fluid leaked out of all the hoses. A week later the dealership then told me the bumper to bumper warranty they told me that I really needed that I have never used covers none of that but they would fix the windshield under warranty and that the broken latch was a safety feature, which is almost laughable. read more

Arrive and pulled into the service area. Sat in my truck and waited about 10 minutes for someone to assist me. No one ever bothered so i went into the service car area and asked if I could get an oil chane and would also like to have everything check. I specifically ask to check the tire pressure and to place 2 tire stem caps on 2 of the tires. Wasn't check and didnt put tire stim caps on the tires. Slow service and they forgot to check the air pressure in my tires, forgot to put on 2 caps on my tire stems. The need to change the name to Slow Lane. Drop my car off at 11am and they said it would be 3-4 hour wait for an oil change so I left my car there expecting they would call me when it was ready (like they had before). I've bought two cars and one truck from Lamarque Ford in the past five years. The sales experience each time was good, but their service department is a nightmare. I currently have my 2016 Focus Titanium there because the Key Fob doesn't work and I keep getting stranded. I scheduled an appointment a month ago, since that was how long they said it would take for their tech (only one apparently capable of working on it) to become available. I brought it in as scheduled at 8:00 AM on 3/20/18. They told me it should be ready by noon. 1:00 PM, nothing. 3:00 PM, still nothing. I call and speak to Bobbie, after several attempts. He said they had not looked at it yet, but he would call me back. 5:00 PM I haven't heard a word. I call back, but I can't get ahold of anyone. Call the next morning (today), and get transferred to Bobbie. No one ever picks up. I call again and I speak to Joe. Joe says he's in charge of my vehicle, but is behind because he's been out a couple of days. Joe is very nice, but the best he can do is tell me that my car hasn't been looked at yet. It's in line though. Said he would call me when he knows something more. 1:00 PM, nothing. I call again, and now I can't get ahold of Joe either. Any time I've had anything more than an oil change, it has been painful. I'm done with Lamarque Ford. Will not buy anything from them again. Unfortunately I'm kind of stuck with them for warranty service, until I can get rid of my Focus. read more

DONT GO HERE! Horrible service. The specific car we wanted was here, so we went in knowing exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, we got Logan as our salesperson. I knew I shouldn't trust a salesperson that can't even tuck in his shirt - sloppy appearance usually means sloppy service and that proved to be true. He barely offered us any information or helped to make the buying process easier. He couldn't make any decisions or negotiations, everything had to go through his manager and it extended the process. After all the paperwork was complete, we waited an additional hour and a half because he told us our car was getting detailed with a full tank of gas. I asked for an update and then he said they were pulling the car around for us. We get in to find it on half a tank of gas, seats weren't vacuumed and they didn't even pull the stickers from the window. No apology from Logan at this point. I was frustrated, so we drove off with our new, dirty car. Few days later, I was asked to come back because they messed up on paperwork and I had to resign some papers. Again, was promised a tank of gas - yet I never got it!! Do not make promises you don't intend to keep!! Fast forward to the last day of my temporary tag, I go in to get a new temp tag and to ask why I haven't received my license plate,. Just to find out it was sitting in a drawer and Logan didn't bother to follow up to let me know. Unacceptable! Not something the customer should have to follow up on! My parents bought their cars here... never again! That's the last of our family coming here. Pathetic service! read more

They consistently do not communicate with their customers, make empty promises, and will do anything to make a profit. High-end buyers get great service, but the rest of us are left to fend for ourselves. Luke Lemus is dishonest and Ron Hoffmann is demeaning, and neither will lift a finger to help a customer. While my car is at the dealership for service, I cannot get anyone to answer the phone or respond to messages. They are not straight forward about when your car will be seen, have no qualms about telling you one thing and doing another, and do not care about their customer or their reputation. As soon as I can break even on my vehicle I will be selling it so that I do not have to step foot on the dealership's lot again. read more

They make you sign a paper that says you don't get the money owed you until they get the title. Well if like me, you have a bank hold on the title, you beyond signing the paperwork, have no ability to control how long that takes. You will rely completely on Debbie West to pursue getting the title. GOOD LUCK. If they choose to, the don't have to act for months. Just sit on your vehicle and the paperwork. We have been Ford owners for several years now. We have owned 3 pick-up trucks, 2 cars and 1 SUV. We currently own 1 car that is paid off, just sold our pick-up (only because we don't drive it much anymore) and are paying on another car. with all that being said, the current vehicle we are paying on that we have been having for about a year now, we have been having issues with it making noise out of the driver side. have taken it to the service department a couple of times. the first time, they said they didn't hear it when they drove it, well how can you hear something when in fact you DIDN'T drive it. I know for a fact because I took a picture of the mileage when I dropped it off and when I picked it up. life got busy and couldn't get it back to the shop after hearing the exact same noise so last week we dropped it off for them to look in the noise again and they said they won't be able to get to it for about 5 days (which I figured), but they called 2 days later and said the vehicle was ready and they found the noise. my husband and I were excited thinking finally we can enjoy the vehicle on long trips and not be irritated by having to turn the radio up. well, as we were traveling back home (almost 6pm when service closes), what do I hear? The SAME NOISE. I call the service department the following day(Friday morning) voicing my frustration. the service guy says the service manager has to take a ride with us to ensure we are both hearing the same noise so I tell them I can be there around 445 - 500 pm that evening or Saturday morning and he says, well, I don't think the manager will be in, but let me get with him and I will call you back. here we are on the current day a week later and STILL NO CALL BACK from Lamarque Ford Service Department. I called and left a voice mail early this morning and here we are after lunch and still no call back. My husband and I are not ones to complain or cause a scene with things, but for the amount of money we are paying for this car that is not even a year old yet and they can't figure out what the noise is, I think we are on the verge of raising some major hell. if they don't get this resolved soon, Lamarque Ford can kiss our business goodbye and will not recommend them to anyone. read more

Before you buy a car here make sure that you talk to them about service. I'm giving a 2 star cause they were easy to buy a car from but man when you start having issues at 6300 miles and need service, they don't seem to have time. When I say service... I have a check engine light on, my electronics part of the car is messed up and when I got gas today it's telling me I'm going to get 140 miles less then normal. Something is wrong! I bought a 2012 ford edge brand new May of 12. Shortly after my vehicle started having pretty big mechanical issues. The first 2 times I had no car and had to take public transportation. My a/c has been worked on numerous times along with quite a few other issues. 2 weeks ago yet again I had more a/c issues and my car was stalling to start. They replaced something on the a/c but could not find the issue with the vehicle stalling. Last Monday it stalled again and I went in. While I was there I spoke to them about what they were willing to give me for my vehicle to trade it in. My extended warranty was up in may and with all of the issues I knew I couldn't keep it without a warranty. They were only willing to give me 7 thousand.. after they said they would give me a great deal. I told the salesman Mike S that it made me not want to buy from them again he then told me he and Kevin the used car manager discussed earlier that I needed to buy a car at another dealership. I left after they said they couldn't figure out why my car was stalling drove to Toyota who offered me a much much better trade in and 2 hours later drove off in a brand new vehicle! Don't waste your time with this dealership. I had a lemon and was made to feel like I was a problem. Go buy a Toyota! If you feel you need to get a Ford see Christy in service she is so professional and very sweet! read more

Worst service department in the state of Louisiana, maybe in America. I bought my Ford Edge at Don Bohn took it here because the door light would not go off while it was on the manufacturer warrantee. They said it was fixed, but it was not. So took it back in a month later and they said the manufacturer warrantee has expired. When told them I paid for extended warrantee they said oh then it's a 100.00 deductible. So I paid for something that should have been covered under warrantee. One month later we have the same problem, door light will not go off and now the heater don't work. I don't want to take it back to Lamargue again now I need to go like 50 miles to Don Bohn and hope they do a better Job and not rip me off like Lamargue has been know to do. Don't take you car to Lamarque Ford they will rip you off and make you whish you had not bought a Ford. read more

Sales Department - Good Service Department - Horrible I scheduled my car for 25,000mile service, check engine light and clicking noise when A/C on. My appointment was for 700am Monday which was scheduled the previous week. They called Tuesday to say they haven't looked at it yet and didn't know when they'd get to it. I called Wednesday afternoon and had to leave messages when they should have still been there. I picked up my car Thursday and they did the service, they fixed the clicking noise, they cleared the check engine light. On the ride home the check engine light came back on and I refuse to go without a vehicle for 3days for them to reset the light and have it go back on, again. I will never buy from them again or recommend them. read more

We assisted our son purchasing on his own, his first used truck from Lamarque Ford right before Christmas. Two and a half weeks later, the engine was having major issues. We contacted our sales guy CJ who put us in contact with the Used Car Sales Managers Dewayne and Derrek who went above and beyond to help us remedy the problem. Since we live on the north shore, they said to take it to a local dealer for a diagnostic check, we did. The truck needed a new torque converter which was pretty major. They told us to bring the truck back and they would repair it. They paid for EVERYTHING - the diagnostic check, the rental car and the parts/labor to the truck. We initially told our son to only purchase from a major Dealership in the event something was wrong with the vehicle because they should warranty it - AND THEY DID!! I must say that ALL of the people we dealt with at Lamarque Ford went above and beyond to help us out! Thank you CJ, Dewayne, Derrek and even Jason in Finance for your exceptional service. Lastly, the day we purchased the vehicle there was a popular New Orleans athlete there purchasing a new truck and getting tremendous service - IT IS AWESOME when the little country fellow gets treated the same as the famous person! The one request I had of a salesman was that I did not want a car that was salvaged or refurbished due to me moving to a state that would absolutely not take a salvage/refurbished trade-in. He showed me a carfax that showed it was not and assured me I would receive a clean title for the car. Low and behold I am now ready to buy a car and I was told by several dealers that they will not take my car due to the salvage/refurbished title. Completely dishonest salesman. It is shameful how dealers will lie and cheat to make a sale. I will never return to this dealer or buy a Ford. Completely disgusted. read more

I brought my car in for service in March due to the key FOB not being detected. The appointment had been made a month in advance. I was told that it would be ready by noon. Three days later, I don't know what is going on with my car. I can't find anyone to talk to who knows anything, and the person "managing" my case can't be reached. Very frustrating. Soon after posting a review of how bad the experience was, I got a call from the service manager. If it had not been for him getting my vehicle checked out and arranging for a rental, this review would have been one star.
