Very conveniently situated on the corner of Pioneer Blvd and 48th St. Easy parking and nice setup for a quick stop and go. When you just have to have a delicious morning treat, it satisfies that hunger. And if you get two dozen donuts you can share your joy with the whole office, like I did this morning. read more

Your door sign prominently says Masks Required, No Exceptions. But there are customers in the shop standing in line without them. So I leave. I get it. It's difficult to enforce. It's likely the customer whom doesn't care about masks may make a scene if you enforce it. And so I won't be back. My health is more important than your lack of backbone. read more

We have been to LaMar's 2 or 3 times since moving to Lincoln. Really good donuts-I had the German Chocolate bar the first time. I woke up early to order donuts for pickup at a later time. When we arrived to get our donuts a little after our pick up time the donuts were not packed up and ready. They made our order there and most of the donuts I had ordered were no longer available. Don't offer online ordering for pick up if you aren't going to have the order ready/our chosen donuts. The worst part is I even gave a tip on my order. Wish I hadn't. Moral of the story: don't order online for pickup the same day because it doesn't do anything. read more

Lamars Donuts is the standard by which all others in Lincoln are measured. They have a nice selection of standard cake and fried donuts. The old fashioned are great and the maple long johns are 12 inches long. The cinnamon rolls are as big as hub caps, and the flavors are perfect. If I have a complaint its you have to get here early because they sometimes run out of things like cinnamon rolls or long johns. They have a frequency program where if you buy so many you get another dozen free. The prices here are a little more then Dunkin or HyVee, but the quality and size is much better too. Dunkin Donuts are a little smaller then my liking but are good, and HyVee offers standard options. If your looking for way outside the box donuts, try The Doughnut Hole in the haymarket. They have really off the wall stuff and they taste great too. read more

This is a review only about the service. I did not go there to buy a donut but order something else. I went directly to the cashier to order and was ignored by 4 different employees. Finally a customer spoke out to an employee and said, this woman has been waiting in line before us and needs help. Their system is to go to the donut line and help those customers, then cashier for those in line. I was a customer out of the ordinary. I was Completely ignored. Very, very bad service for such a nice and new donut shop. I would give them another chance but my experience was poor. Learn better customer service read more

Great donut selection at a fair price and they always taste fresh. I honestly do not like donuts from Dunkins or krispy kreme and I love these, so expect something a little bit different if those are your normal go-tos. The service is really good too. Sometimes they have samples out and I'd recommend trying them because you never know what you might like! My favorites are the m&m topped cake donut and the sour cream donut. They have a new building (right next to the old one) and are also located with options for ice cream and popcorn. La mars is also a great choice if you want to bring donuts to work or a business meeting, as they discount larger orders. Highly recommend! read more

I love Lamar's donuts, but unless you come before 7:30am on the weekends, be ready to eat nothing but sprinkle and glazed donuts. One might expect that they'd plan to have enough donuts to offer a selection at 8:30am on a Saturday but, in the three times I've come on the weekends, that has never been the case. Hands down the best donuts in town, but they'd be a lot better off financially if they made enough donuts to last past 8am. Whoever owns this is really missing out on a large amount of income, because if you're going to stay open until 2pm, you should at least not run out of the favorites until noon. I would be willing to bet they'd almost double their income if they put in the effort to even read their reviews. and follow a little of advice. You may have to pay the bakery staff for longer service, but I would think it would be worth it. read more
