Unfortunately, my interaction with Julie was one of the worst experiences I had while struggling with infertility. Dr. Lamb requested a specific test that I had done with my OBGYN. I scheduled a follow-up meeting to discuss those results with Dr. Lamb. This is what happened next... I showed up to my appointment and Dr. Lamb looked at my husband and I and asked what we have decided (regarding IVF), I told her we were here to discuss the test results (per her recommendation) before deciding next steps. She looked at us and said "I do not have those results". I let her know that my OBGYN (one floor up) sent them over yesterday. She stared at us and said "unfortunately, I do not have them" and sat in silence waiting for us to say something. I said "ok, can you go get them"? She said "you want me to go get the results"? Yup!!! She left the room, annoyed that SHE had to get them. What happened next broke me. She walked in and said "here they are, I'm so sorry, the girls in the office are getting pregnant left and right so we have been a little short staffed". THAT IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN SAY TO A WOMEN THAT HAS BEEN STRUGGLING WITH INFERTILITY FOR YEARS! I looked at my husband and all I said is "I can't" as in, I can't talk to this woman anymore. Then I turned my head towards the window and cried the entire time I sat there while my husband dealt with Julie. We never went back. LUCKILY, I was referred by a family friend to SRM. I LOVED my experience at SRM. I miss everyone at the Seattle office. They were SO good to us. Three days ago, at 37 years old I just celebrated my sons 1st birthday!!! I felt like Dr. Lamb was there for the money... "what do you want to do" as in what package do you want to sign up for. SRM made me feel like I was part of their family. I still talk to some of the staff members to this day. Hope this helps! read more
