This company sent out contractors to install internet in my neighborhood. They damaged my property, then avoided reimbursing me appropriately. They offered an insulting $50. I've been in contact with the FCC and the DOJ Consumer Protection Division in regard to this company. They've attempted to reach out to Lambert Cable Splicing, but they evade all emails. read more

This company is terrible. Their contract or did a lot of damage on our property when trying to install a Verizon fios wire. Purposely damage a drain line to insert the wire through it to go under an aggregate sidewalk. Said they would pay for repairs but we have been ghosted. Do not let these people on your property. read more

Lambert was contracted by Brightspeed to install Fiber internet to my property. The installation was done poorly to the point that the line and the "flowerpot" was easily hit by my lawn mower, severing the fiber line, and leaving me without internet for 16 days (that is a Brightspeed issue at that point). Nearly a year later Lambert has finally contacted me to try to resolve this issue which I have already taken care of myself. They apparently had a team come out in January to fix this issue and the pictures of this fix were actually of my neighbor's house. Therefore they were unable to install this properly, fix an issue in a timely manner, or even fix the issue at the proper address. The person who contacted me from their claims department seems to just want to close out the claim without any admission of their own incompetence or the fact that the customer (me) who is a disabled veteran had to fix it himself as he had no information on this for nearly a year. read more

Watch out of Lamberts shows up to install anything on your property. They completely disregard any markings, have no common sense, blame the landowner for not "marking their utilities" and blatantly damage property and expect other companies to clean up after them. On our single street alone they cut at least 3 homeowners existing fiber lines and caused a major gas leak resulting in multiple fire and EMS responders. They are a subcontractor for Verizon and do a terrible job of installations, cleaning up after themselves. They are great at generally destroying property. Fortunately there are other options than Verizon in our neighborhood as we will never be purchasing service through a company who allows their subcontractors to damage and destroy property. read more

Customer Concerns, To clarify based on our phone conversation and to alleviate any confusion, these photos were taken at 6:30pm ans the sun was setting and the crew was still working past 7pm with their machinery going. They have since stopped and are cleaning up to return another time to finish the job. Fully understanding that there is work to be done to run and install these lines, the timeframe of which this was taking place in a residential community is a disruption to the families who live here and could have been timed better. Also knowing the lines are under our yard, it does not permit the crews to use our driveways and obstruct our ability to utilize our driveways to enter our home. My wife is 30 weeks pregnant and was bringing our two toddlers home when she encountered the workers and their equipment in our driveway. Rather than moving they tried to direct my wife to park on the road where their trucks were already occupying the curb in front of our house. After some back and forth she was able to have them move some of the equipment so she could use our driveway to take our kids out of the car safely. When I came Homefront work I was unable to park in the driveway from the work being done and parked on the street, which in usual circumstances wouldn't be an issue but this community will ticket and tow your vehicle is it's parked on the road. I talked with the crew and explained our situation and they were pleasant and gave me their direct supervisor's number, Ms. Patrona, who was professional, understanding and apologetic for the work taking much longer than planned informing me they were supposed to be done by 5pm and she would have them finish up now and return tomorrow. After that phone call I decided to call the company line to inform them of the situation as well and explain our frustration and issue with the situation. Rather than professionalism or empathy for the situation their company caused, I was met with attitude, questioning me about it being dark out at my house at 7pm because it was still light where she was - in another state. The conversation there escalated out of frustration for making excuses rather than providing any sort of customer service to rectify or resolve the situation. Meanwhile my toddlers couldn't go to sleep due to the noise of the crew. I'm glad Ms. Patrona was more understanding and professional of the situation and I highly recommend some customer service training to those answering the company line, especially if the line is to address "customer concerns" as advertised. I'll be posting this review online as well after my experience with this company. read more

This has to be the worst company ever. We have been waiting a month for them to bury a Verizon FiOS line. Lambert's has given false excuses to Verizon multiple times, including claiming our neighbor would not provide access (untrue -- the land is completely open and the neighbor wants the line buried as much as we do); Columbia Gas hasn't done its part for the Miss Utility marking process (again untrue -- Miss Utility told me Lamberts never requested marking and we have no natural gas service in this neighborhood so there is no reason for the gas company to be involved in any event); and I haven't answered their phone calls (also untrue -- none are recorded on my cell phone -- don't the people at Lambert's know how easy it is to check this false claim?). Like others, I would give a 0 rating if I could. Lambert's, if you are listening, start telling the truth and DO YOUR JOB! read more

These people were a nightmare to deal with. They were working across the street from house. They were running a gas powered suction pump to drain water from the hole. It was nearly 8 pm and incredibly loud . I asked how long it would be and the guy ignored me. I told him he really needed to wrap it up. My neighbors and I all have kids to put to bed. So he opened the door of the truck to increase the noise pollution his equipment was making. I called the cops. He broke our neighbors' sprinkler head before departing. These guys shouldn't be in business. I'd give them zero stars if I could. read more

If I could have given them 0 stars, this review would be even more accurate. I have a new neighbor who ordered cable from a provider (I believe it was FiOS) that the house had not previously used. Our neighborhood has all electric and cable lines buried. The team from Lambert arrived around 8 am, and started to go to work trenching across my lawn - no problem, except that if I hadn't seen them this morning, I wouldn't have been able to flag the lines for my sprinkler system. As it was, they provided a door tag with contact information and noting they are an authorized provider for Verizon. I tagged my sprinklers and then got out of their way. Just after 10 am, I noticed that my work emails weren't going through and the autosave on the spreadsheets I was working in kept locking-up. My internet was down - completely (I have FiOS). I went outside, but the crew was gone - and they didn't even bury the line they were supposed to do. I saw that the lawn was ripped up and no effort to repair the damage, and chunks of clay-like dirt was scattered across my driveway. When I called the number on the doortag, the person who answered said that the group is already onto their other job, and that I needed to call Verizon if I have an issue with my cable service being down because of their trenching. I asked why bother with a customer service number if that is no customer service. He had no answer except that it's my responsibility to call Verizon. I called their 1-800 numbers and received the same directions, and also trying to place the blame on utility company marking. So now, I'm down on internet, using up data limits on my phone (using as a hotspot), and have to wait on Verizon to come out to find where the cable was cut and repair it. Oh, and it seems the repair to my lawn is entirely on me as well. Terrible service. I am cutting and pasting this review to the email I'm sending to Verizon - except that review will name names from Lambert. read more

I wish I could leave a 0 because they certainly do NOT deserve a 1. This sorry company installed piping on the opposite side of the road from my property and still managed to destroy grass 15 into my property in not just 1 but several places. Made a huge mess and just left. Took me a few days to track down which company actually did it and I have left numerous messages with not even the 1st call back. Been trying to reach Amy Lemon since she is in charge of the messes this company makes but can not reach her because her mailbox is full of other complaints most likely. The fact they can come onto your property, destroy it cost the homeowner a boatload of money in repairs and they won't call you back to talk about how to get it fixed is a poor excuse of a company. After looking at their other reviews I see this happens on all their jobs evidently. read more

Was supposed to fix a cable for Frontier that a utility crew sliced, knocking out service for several customers on a Monday. Was supposed to come Thursday or Friday. Didn't show up. Then Frontier said they were coming Tuesday. Didn't show up. They finally showed up Wednesday, but did not fix the connection properly. I have now left Frontier because of Lamberts' inefficiency. read more

This company needed access to the utility easement in our backyard to bury phone line for a neighbor. While they completed the job for our neighbor, they cut our internet line leaving us without internet for 5 days at this point. We have emailed twice, called 4 times and still have not had anyone come back out to rectify the issue. We work from home and cannot do our jobs, we now have no access to our baby monitor and they do not care. read more

I'm a sub contractor for a contractor and they are consistently late, no contact with the people hired to provide traffic control. They work slow, disappear from the job site with 0 contact for multiple hours leaving traffic control to man an empty zone. They've been on a job here since April 2021 and have had to fix the cable and conduit 6 times. Nobody seems to know what they're doing. read more

They never contacted us when they were coming, we waited for months to bury our Verizon phone line. And when they finally came they tore up my property leaving distruction behind example: cut electrical wire left live, cut landscape wires. I can't believe Verizon would hire such a company to do their work.! My cobblestone curb was also tore up and never put back. read more

This is by far the worst cable company I have ever came in contact with.(And that's being nice). This cable company damaged my property and I wasn't even the person getting cable, my neighbor was. They dug up my yard to bury a cable line for my neighbor on my property. That's not even the kicker! When I approached them in the process, the two workers proceeded to use profanity at me and continued digging. Long story short, they had to send more staff to my home and pull up the cables, doing further damage to my yard. End result, they sprinkled grass seeds on my yard, but the damage is already done. So disappointed and distraught over this. Shame on you Verizon for working with such an incompetent, outside contractor. read more

I have been waiting for 8 weeks to have a cable line buried!!!! They won"t give you a window of time they can come nor make appointment times. I have locked gates and must be home but they are so disorganized and mismanaged they can't work with customers.I can be home when they want, if they could just give window of time. The power line marking services have been here 4 time in 2 months because the rain washes the marks away because Lambert never shows because they are a totally incompetently run company. Some "supervisor' man came last week and said they were sending a team from Southwest VA. to take care of the job Sat and Sun. Saturday a team from Chesapeake,VA. showed up before lunch, looked over what needed to be done. Left about 11:30 and never came back. Today,Sunday ,Nov. 5 I left the needed gate open for the worked to be done wide open and as of 2:00 PM no one has shown up bury my cable. This clown act has been going on since the 2nd week of Sept. How can any company prosper being so disorganized is beyond me. Its not rocket science here. I think its time to cancel Verizon all together. read more

BEWARE of Lambert's! We had a verizon line buried in our yard by Lambert's and it was the worst experience we have every had with subcontractor. They didn't notify us they were coming, ripped up our yard...ok, maybe I could understand that much. But then they ran the ditch witch right through one of our irrigation valves, flooded our back yard and left! They didn't say a word to us. I saw the guy up front messing with our water valve as they got in the truck and drove away. I thought...hmm that's odd, went to go survey the yard and sure enough my suspicions were correct. We told them our irrigation was operational and to be careful of it plus the valve was exposed, so no excuses. I called five different people in the company and kept getting the run around. The area supervisor told me not to worry and that the crew was probably our buying parts to fix it. Bahahaha! Yeah right :-/ this has yet to be resolved. read more
