We purchased a used vehicle and were given the absolute runaround. Five days straight we were told a part hadn't arrived, even though they initially said it was there and being worked on already... When we finally went to pick up the car, we sat in the waiting room for almost five hours, even though they claimed it was ready. The salesman told us everything was fixed and detailed the day prior and when we arrived, it wasn't detailed at all, and the salesman was not there for our scheduled appointment. Then shortly after, the check engine light comes on. It's a simple issue, something they should have no reason not to fix. Instead they refused service, had us leave, and told us to confirm our warranty that we have with them on our own. Then he said it's not something they could fix at their dealership...? I know not many people check Yelp reviews for dealerships, but I hope this at least reaches some people because I hate supporting inconsiderate and disrespectful places.

Last Friday I was outside and heard an air leak from the rear passenger side tire. Found the whole side wall of the tire was shaved down and wires were sticking out of it. I then checked the rest of the tires to see if it was apparent on any other tires and the driver side rear was in nearly the same state just not quite an air leak. I took it to Nissan of San Marcos because I work in San Marcos. They serviced it and told me the rear alignment bolts were left loose. Even better they said they called the "technicians" (if you can call them that) in Boerne to ask if they did an alignment and they admitted they had and clearly the technician had left the alignment bolts loose. A vehicle with 30k miles shouldn't have the tires, much less alignment, messed with. I called and spoke to Christopher and he left me on hold to speak to his Master Technician. Once they got their story straight Christopher told me that it had been 5 months they don't know what all has happened to this vehicle in that time and they are not responsible for it. Why on earth would I mess with or pay anyone to adjust the alignment? In what world do I do that myself and risk my wife and children's lives? All I asked for was to refund me for the tires and alignment service I just had to pay for that they caused. I was happy to provide receipts. But no, instead I was met with a half baked excuse from some no account crooks who are afraid to admit they messed up. When I first contacted the dealership around 11 AM regarding the truck, I specifically asked for a price breakdown before making the drive out there. I was told that "the price listed on the website is what we charge" and that they "don't have add-ons." However, by the time I arrived at the dealership around 5:15 PM the same day, the price had already increased by roughly $1,000 before we even finalized numbers. I even provided proof through a screenshot of the listing. I was then (heavily) encouraged to complete the financing application after already being pre-approved through my lender. After moving forward with the financing process and approval, the deal structure changed multiple times again after the vehicle went through service inspection. I was later told the truck needed approximately $4,000 in repairs and was repeatedly asked to split the repair cost 50/50 by adding another roughly $2,000 out of pocket. Throughout the process, I also felt pressured to make a decision quickly while the numbers continued changing. To the dealership's credit, they did remove optional add-on packages after I pushed back. However, the repeated pricing changes, pressure during negotiations, and requests for me to absorb repair costs after financing was already underway made the experience stressful and difficult to navigate as a customer. I would strongly recommend that anyone shopping here ask for a complete written breakdown of: - selling price - trade value - amount financed - repair issues - optional products - or avoid this location before completing financing or emotionally committing to a vehicle purchase. The truck itself was nice, but the overall process became much more complicated than expected.

I wasn't able to get a loaner car, so ultimately I just left with my car. When they brought my car back, they didn't say anything to me. They just left the keys inside and left the hood open. My car has a pretty loud warning chime that sounds whenever the hood is open, so they clearly heard it and ignored it. So I had to stop and close the hood myself. My service advisor Marc was nice so I'll exclude him from this. But I've never had such an unnecessarily frustrating experience at a dealership. Although they had to remove a skid plate to do the oil change, the dealership failed to accept responsibility for this event. They disputed responsibility by showed a picture of the front skid plate hanging a little low the day they did the oil change.  While defending the experience of their technicians, Service Director James Waite, did acknowledge that the technician should have pointed out the need to replace a few of the clips. And that if the clips were new that the skid plates would not have come loose. He stated that they were somewhat "complicit" so he would consider refunding part of our deductible if we filed with our insurance company.  Had Robert, the technician, cared about being thorough and pointing out the need for some new clips, the skid plates would still be in place. Something that the Service Director agreed was definitely possible but leaving us with thousands of dollars of repair.
