The fire rings have a grill grate, and the camp sites have a picnic table. Bundles of wood are available for $7/ea. The tent sites are very close to each other, so if you've envisioned the whole "getting away" experience, think again. "Houston, we have a problem..." Be prepared for sounds of traffic, small aircraft, shoveling gravel, children crying/screaming/shrieking, horns honking, inconsiderately loud people incessantly cackling/laughing/arguing/talking, wake up alarms that sound the full 10 minutes, bells, buzzers, tea kettles, music and general malaise at all hours of the night and morning. But if you're cool with that, then this should be on your short list of campgrounds. And if you can look past it all, and slow dance with your sweetie to the radio broadcasted from an adjoining site, then you've really won, haven't you? Lots of trees, so bring a hammock.

Hard to get the office staff on the phone when I tried to call to cancel on a Saturday. Very disappointing, especially given positive experiences I had with this park under past ownership.

This is a wonderful place to visit! Not a lot of parking but few visitors (should be many more)…read more The hill site is surrounded by a gated community but is publicly accessible - the locals love it when people come to visit and are very welcoming! Park in one of the recessed spaces (there are 4) next to the community management/sales office outside the gate. The pathway is to the left of the gate, going into the trees to the left of the clearing (it was a clearing when I went but could be under development). The path was marked on the map on the running/hiking app I use. Follow the path up until you reach the grand staircase up to the top of the hill. The site is relatively small compared to others in the area like Goat Camp and Shoofly, but is really unique in it's positioning at the top of a very high hill and the structures appear to be from the era of pit-house architecture. I hear there are plans to turn the site into a self-guided tour-able location with informational signs about history &c., and it will be amazing. I will definitely have to come back!

This is a very real, heartbreaking and difficult journey. Mogollan Treatment Center specifically~LIZ~ has literally been a life line in an ocean of everchanging uncertainty. I do not know how I would have been able to navigate this without her. She is always there to talk, oftentimes for hours, day or night. The obvious dedication and love for her chosen profession is jawdropping for me and so very appreciated. I don't really have the words to adequately describe my appreciation for this unique woman. I am forever grateful for LIZ and the Mogollan Treatment Center for help with the most important journey in my and my child's life. In her capable, caring and knowledgeable hands I have felt heard, important and understood. Please look into this Center before you get to the end of your rope! She's a game- changer! Thank you, LIZ.
