Really nice park, but..... Once they get your rental payment in full, they will keep it! I came down with Covid and had to cancel. They gave zero refund and refused to offer future credit. We are a club and had over nine coaches booked. Another member had to cancel too. Hundreds of dollars down the toilet. read more

We lived in AZ for over 15 years and would stay here 2 to 3 times a year. It was always a great experience. We last stayed here 5 years ago before retiring out of state. Boy has it changed. Though they appear to be trying to keep the place up, the majority of the RV's in here are now run down full timers. We made this a planned stop, not to miss on our 8 week western US trip. Disappointed. The RV next to us is a full timer, sanding the exterior. In your own rules and regulations you state that RV's will be in good to excellent condition to be allowed in. We are new RV owners (as of early 2025) and we have already been here 2 times. Great staff, fun activities, sites are quiet and well secluded from each other. The place is very well kept. Lots of things to do nearby as well. Highly recommend it and we will be spending more time there. read more

We stayed at a cabin here and loved it! The cabins are cute, clean, ane cozy! We loved the patio. We also loved the walking trails. They gave us an early checkin which was a very nice surprise. This will be our go to spot in camp verde. read more

Stayed here as a monthly and weekly for over 14 years. This campground has did a drastic change for the worst.The last 2 times we stayed they didn't have power and this time no water. If you stay there bring generator and water. It also very loud being by the shower house and laundry. Would not recommend staying there. They are building a lot of better campgrounds in this area. read more

Love Zane Grey RV Village. The staff goes the extra mile at every turn and we appreciate their consistent caring. This was our second stay here and we were very pleased. We ended up getting into the park late after office hours and they gave us everything we needed to know to do a self check-in. Our site was all ready for us and set-up was easy. We also requested to stay an extra night and they happily accommodated us. Then on our departure date, a young man on staff notice some low-level tree branches that were hanging down after some rainy days that were on top of our RV and he asked if he could have them removed so that we wouldn't hit them. They had someone there right away and took care of a potential problem and we were able to get on the road quickly. I like that the office contacts the guests via email or text to let folks know of any activity changes and communicates events. Great team work at this beautiful resort. read more

We love the property, activities and the friendly people! However was frustrated in the fact that there is only one (double camp space) that is not for permanent residence. However, they allow only one person to book both sites for over a year in advance! When nobody else has the option to book that far out... so if you want to go with a family where you can both be parked in a space together and your doors are facing each other you can't do that.. because of one person who receive special treatment! We've stayed at Zane Grey many times but it's been a few years. The owners have improved the park even more. if you need to relax but want an opportunity to socialize, this is your place. ZG offers a lot of activities and reasons to come out of your RV. The staff members Devin, Gabby and Trevor were wonderful by being helpful from the time we made the reservation until the moment we left. Cabin #90 was perfect. Book at Zane Grey for your next trip! Very clean and gorgeously maintained park. The whole common area is lit up at night and makes for a fun evening around the fire. Nicest RV park in the Camp Verde area. Located approximately 7 miles off the I17 which makes it nice and quiet. Also has nice trees and next to the Verde River where there is a walking path. Sites large and very clean. At night the lightning is awesome. Dog park is really cute and like all of the park kept clean. Sites are raked and level. Didn't use the bathrooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended this park. read more

Zane Grey is amazing . I especially loved the color lights everywhere - even in the trees. Lots of trees and greenery to make you feel you are in another world. The staff were great!! They raked the lots daily & kept the cottonwood droppings cleaned out of the empty sites. I must say it was fun to see the "non-snow" all over the camp tho. I can't emphasize enough how friendly & CLEAN everyone & everything was. Lots of activities and the pool table & shuffleboard in the clubhouse was a big hit. The boys loved the free beer while they watched the NFL picks in the clubhouse. Enjoyed the cheesecake & music day as well. Great fun & we and our friends will be back regularly. What a lovely place with loads of trees and greenery. It is well kept and they have all sorts of events that they hold throughout the week. The spaces are large. Their dog park is a good size with lots of area for dogs to run around. A nice social firepit for gathering and yard games to enjoy. Very close to National Monuments, unfortunately they were closed due to the government shutdown. read more

We have been coming here since 2007. Love this park! It is always clean, sites are spacious. Love the dog park and how friendly staff are.

The Park is nice, well maintained....except for the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi never worked the entire time we were there (5 days). The staff kept telling us it was being worked on, but we never saw anyone from a service company doing anything. The office was closed almost every day until 12 noon. Ended up having to use our phone hot spot for any internet connection ($100 charge over the 5 days) at all which was also spotty at best. When we made the reservation we specifically asked about the Wi-Fi since we were on a "House Hunting" trip and need the connection to be ready to look at homes to buy, I was assured it was top notch with excellent coverage.....not so much!. read more

Absolutely love this place. We don't have an RV but we meet up with several family members that do for Thanksgiving dinner. The services are excellent including small cabins. The surrounding area has plenty of hikes which are amazing. The cherry on top were the restroom facilities which not only have warm showers but are immaculate. read more

We love this RV park for it's atmosphere, large trees and location to Phoenix. The new management has done a great job of upgrading the camping area and facilities. My biggest concern the last two times (weekends) we've been there is the work they do around the park on the weekends. A few months ago they had machinery running in the back of the park almost all day Saturday and this last time they chose to do lawn mowing and grass trimming on Saturday. Why aren't these activities done during the week when most of the park is empty. We escape Phoenix for some time to rest and relax but hard to do when these activates are going on. read more

This is our second time visiting this park and it is even a better stay than the first! Semi-private campsites nestled among the trees, a well-maintained raked rock site, cleanest shower and restroom facilities I have even seen anywhere and friendliest staff around are a few of the things we love about this RV village. They go out of their way to ensure there is a lot to do during your stay; donuts and coffee on Saturdays, live music in the afternoons, multiple outdoor game options, a large pet area for play and even a breakfast buffet during our holiday weekend visit. If you love to walk, they have trails and trails!!! This park is well-maintained-spotless. Safe and secure. We will return to this park for some R & R often as it has become one of our favorites!
