Once was in New York to deposit a check, the other two times were at the Franklin TN office. After my experience dealing with Luke at the front counter in Franklin, I am ready to close my account. I needed to go to the Fidelity office to wire money to Mexico since I am planning to purchase property there. During my first visit, Luke acted like it was a big inconvenience to send the wire. Given the difficulty he was having, I sensed he did not do this often. I returned two weeks later to send money to a different account in Mexico that I would use to purchase the property when it was time to close on the deal. Unfortunately, Luke was still working the counter. This time, he made several odd remarks like : "How many accounts do you have in Mexico". Then he asked what the money was used for because "people" questioned him after the transaction. I said that I told you the purpose during my last visit. Then I asked what he said. He responded "To help a friend in Mexico pay bills". At this point, I was very upset and said no, it was to purchase property. He said, "we'll I didn't remember because I do a lot of wire transfers".. Really, based on his lack of competence, I would say he doesn't do many. I have received far better customer service at banks where I carry a fraction of the amount I have with Fidelity. I see no point doing business with a company that treats its customers so rudely.

She gabbed incessantly with the delivery man who walked through the door. When I asked for a place to sit without distraction, I was told there was no place for me to go (clearly there were empty rooms). She also wouldn't let me speak to anyone else in the building. I had to leave, with a 1/2 opened account. Now my account is in limbo, and I cannot move forward. Why they have this young lady working here, in customer service for financial products- I have no idea

The platform is inferior compared to many other trading platforms. E.g. hard to follow screens, fails to bring relevant information to the forefront of what you're working (i.e. you must flip between screens to access relevant information. I.e. when option trading the stocks, chart is not readily available.), ticket orders do not flow easily. You must relook each entry over and over and if you have an error upon submission, you better check the "edited" ticket as the default information will change to an entirely different option. CFRA star investment listings, calendar of events... are not available. I don't understand why a company would purchase something and not bring their format advancements along as well. The platform reminds me of an old green screen system with a gooey overlay.
