I've been with them for years, and the second my name, address, phone, or SSN pops up anywhere shady on the dark web, they ping me immediately. Super helpful and actually easy to deal with, customer service is friendly and efficient! Just upgraded to their home title protection because, apparently thieves can straight-up steal your house now. Zander's got my title locked down tighter than the bark on a tree, and I can finally relax and not stress about it. For both identity and title insurance it's less than 12 bucks a month. Half that if you only want identity theft insurance. I also love that they are a faith based company! If you want real peace of mind without the headache, Zander's the move. When it comes to superheros Clark Kent & Spidey got nothing on Zander's customer service team!! Highly recommend -- they've earned every star and then some!

When I called, Shay Stevens took my call, and was extremely helpful. We had other policies that were expiring, and needed to make a decision quickly. We have several different home and auto policies, and Shay went above and beyond to quickly get us the best insurance at the best rates. She saved us a lot of money, found us better coverages, and was very professional. Honestly, we mostly went with Zander because of Shay. It's rare these days to find someone in customer service that is that dedicated. We appreciated that very much.

Got home and called my insurance company. Then I Google "Trexis insurance reviews" and my stomach sank. Gotta admit, its very sketchy for an insurance company to have no social media presence in this day and age. I braced myself for a hassle, and accepted that I might have to file through my own insurance. But honestly, things with Trexis went fairly smooth. They sent me a link to a website through which to send photos of the damage. Within a week, the vehicle was declared a total loss, and the claim was forwarded to their total loss department. Made me a very fair offer. Minus one star because things were kinda drug out at this point, and I had to act as a go-between between Trexis and my loan company more than once to get things moving. Not sure on which end the miscommunication was happening, but somebody definitely dropped the ball more than once. But in the end, all was resolved. Finance company received the payoff on May 25th, and I received a check for the balance two days later. Not the smoothest of procedures, but far, far better than I'd feared. Calling it a win. Edit - I feel I should point out that I have a family member with a spare vehicle that I was able to borrow, so I didn't bother with trying to get a rental. That may have played into my positive experience. Not changing my star rating, because thats based upon my own experience, but in the name of full disclosure, I thought I should clarify this point.

Written correspondence comes out of Clinton Iowa. When I googled to find the largest employers in Clinton, Iowa. Wilcac does not even register on the list and the last employer on the list had 14 employees! Yet, Wilcac shows domicile in Lousiville, KY. Riddle me that batman? B. Filed a claim and sent all the paper work requested in return receipt request - arrived July 14th. l called Wilcac and the only information I could obtain was that it took 10 business days to process. C. Called on the 28th of July and was instructed that their system was down. D. Called on the 29th of July and was instructed that they were running behind. Rep said I needed to send in information. I asked the rep to look at the cover letter that packet of completed forms and death certificates that should have been scanned in. Rep came back and said everything was there but the claim was in processing. I asked to speak to someone in processing and was informed that processing does not talk to the public. I then requested to speak to the reps supervisor. When the supervisor did get on the line I was provided no answers just the same - we're running behind. E. I called again on a August 7th, same song and dance from WIlcac rep. I asked for a supervisor, no supervisor available. Request supervisor to call me back when a supervisor was available - to date no response. F. I received a letter from Wilcac on Friday afternoon the 7th of August dated July 6th - standard letter with another death claim form asking me to complete it and send it in. G. On Saturday the 8th of August I received two letters from Wilcac. One notified me that they were processing the claim. The second letter notifying me that they needed a certified death certificate with the cause of death, manner of death, date of birth and social security number. I checked the insured and primary beneficiary death certificates that were sent in. All information was included although I do not see what difference cause of death and manner of death have to do with a claim of death? I can tell you this from 34 years of insurance experience. It is my conclusion that this company is ran by a group of juveniles whose primary objective is not to process paperwork in a timely manner but to quantify their position by finding hurdles to delay the process and avoid providing answers to claimants who deserve and desire answers. An insurance company is only as good as the people who work and represent the carrier and Wilcac Life Insurance sits at the bottom of the barrel. If I could give no stars I would. FYI - Wilcac is owned by Wilton Re Holdings Ltd who also owns Texas Life Insurance Company. I suggest avoiding both insurance carriers at all cost. Life insurance is for the insured providing a benefit to the listed beneficiaries, not for the benefit of the carrier.
