I've eaten here a few times and the food and service is always good. Each time I try something new, something unknown to my tastebuds. The risotto is delicious but the portion is small, the croquettes are the best I've had in Spain, the wings are ok, and the crispy chicken sandwich has more crispy than chicken but still tasty. Also, the tinto de verano is a mix from a jug not an in-house mix, which is a little disappointing. For a restaurant in Spain, they have a lot of seating both inside and outside. The atmosphere is classy but casual, and the service is always with a smile. Overall, a great place on Serrano for an afternoon tapa or meal. Enjoy. read more

I was there with a party of nine. We only had about an hour and 45 minutes because they were booked that night. We were there early (by Spanish standards) and they needed the table later. I had the meat platter with the potatoes and salad. The sausage was quite good and the steaks were all a little tough, but not terrible. The waiter seemed slightly aloof, slightly distracted, and not really in any hurry, even though we were warned that we were going to be on a time crunch. Our food didn't all come out at the same time, which makes it awkward for the person eating his pizza that *did* come out first. Of course we didn't want to make him wait, but it is never really professional in the restaurant industry to time it like that with a table, unless they specifically ask for something to come out first. The server either forgot or didn't bother to box up my leftovers. (I actually would have preferred to box them myself, but he whisked my plate away when I asked him.) Towards the end of the meal it got really loud in there. Terrible acoustics. The loud atmosphere is unpleasant and was starting to give me a headache. Very average dining experience. We had dinner at Lamucca on our first night in Madrid. Restaurant is located at a walking distance from our hotel Barcelo Emperatriz. Restaurant has tables inside and on the sidewalk. We chose to eat outside. The restaurant is beautiful. It was full of a younger crowd. The atmosphere was energetic. The food was delicious. I was a little skeptical with Lamucca at first as it seemed to have an identity crisis, but boy was I proved wrong! One big advantage of Lamucca as it was literally a stone's throw from my hotel that I was staying in. Now, I did choose this establishment based off the Yelp reviews, so I really did not know what to expect, but Yelp came through in the end! The restaurant itself is pretty swanky, and very spacious with some seating outside for people watching. Even being a nice day, I chose the inside as it was pretty empty (Silly Americans eating before 10 PM for dinner). The hostess was quite kind and willing to walk me through the menu, but being on the not so large size it was easy to navigate. I will say the menu is sort of diverse dallying between many types of cultural food (Thai, Italian, American, etc). I know the pizzas get praise here, but for some reason I was itching for some Thai, so grabbed the pad thai and my relative got the burger with fries. We also both opted for some tasty sangrias to get the ball rolling! The food itself did not take long to arrive, which is a plus for some tasty tourists such as ourselves and I was surprised by the ample amount of food that was served. As for the food itself, it was spectacular! To top it off, expect to not break the bank here as it is quite affordable, but it might help due to it being of the outskirt of the downtown area. I really like the Black Truffle oil pizza. It's called Boletus Pizza on the menu. I can eat a whole one myself, they're not too thick. The sangria is good too. The google app is good for checking out when it's going to be very busy. Last time I was there we got in about 4:50pm and it was very busy. When we left an hour later it was almost empty. read more

Lamucca is close to where I live and I love going there for the mushroom and truffle pizza, it is great for sitting outdoors and I love the decoration and is in a prime location. I would say that i go there at least 1 a month and i have never had a bad experience. I have also had the Salmon Poke and it is OK. read more

Spent NYE2019 here and were very pleased with their great customer service, hospitality and quality of food. They even displayed on one of their walls a countdown for all in the restaurant to join in the welcoming of the new year. We were a group of 19 and this did not seem to affect the staff as to their quality of service. I do have to mention that their white truffle pizza was a hit amongst most sitting with our group. In addition, the ham croquettes were delicious, a must. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I started school at IE University on October 2017, and LaMucca is perfectly located right across from class. Off course I have found myself here several times for drinks and food. I am a vegetarian so I like to indulge in their truffle pizza, which is absolutely delicious. The 'batata a la brasa' is also pretty good. It might be named something else but its difficult to locate menu on their website (which should be one of the first things I see) and find the correct meaning. The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is that sometimes the bar service is not the greatest. It can take ages to get a drink, and then surprisingly, pay. Sometimes I wonder if they even want their money? I would also say that it is a bit pricier than most places in spain. Typically you pay about 2.50 euros for a glass of red wine, but at La Mucca its 4 euros. Other than it, the atmosphere is always pretty chill with people who live, work, and attend school in the nearby area. read more

My friends and I tried this restaurant for the first time. My friend ordered the "black pizza" which was told to only have olives, tomatoes and mozzarella. She than had an allergic reaction and immediately started vomiting when she ate a pine nut. There was no warning on the menu. She is currently in hives and had to leave to get medication. When we went to the manager to advise them they did not even apologize just tried to justify their actions of not warning us about the nuts. Meanwhile everything else on the menu has a valid warning if their is nuts in the dish or not. I understand mistakes happen but the management was not apologetic nor tried to make it up to us.
