The green chili soup was rich, comforting, and packed with great Colorado flavor. My wife built her own burger and upgraded to the house salad instead of fries. Everything was fresh, cooked exactly as ordered, and delicious. This has become one of our must-stop restaurants whenever we're headed to Vail. Yesterday, from the kitchen, I overheard the owner, berating and cursing at Gabby for several minutes over a customer being served cream with their coffee. She insisted that "New Orleans doesn't serve coffee with cream" and that Gabby should have refused it. It was completely ridiculous. I found the way this situation was handled extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. It left me feeling that the owner needs to find a much better way to communicate with and manage her employees. Gabby works incredibly hard and deserves to be treated with respect.
