Yummy breakfast burrito and friendly service. $12 including coffee so $20 with tip because friendly helpful waiter.

8 oz. Prime rib, promotional prime rib

So we have been coming up kind of alot lately, and as you may or may or may not know any casino that offered a buffet or salad bar is none existent. so when we are up we have been trying what is available as far as a bite to eat is concerned, this particular day we opted for the "complimentary" prime rib dinner after you earn x amount of points I think this day it was 50. so i will walk you thru our experience, there was not alot of ppl so you would think we would have been acknowledge some what quickly but unforortunately the 2 servers kept looking at us and kept on with thier server activities, after about a 10 minute wait the hostess finally approached us and sat us. Our waitress explained that she had just started her shift so "bear" with her. I understand that sometimes we dont want to be at work but if your going to work with the public that should be something you enjoy. So in other words our server had as much personality as a tree branch. we placed our order as we each had the prime rib which i upgraded to the larger cut as the complimentary one was approximately 6-8 oz. and when we asked for a salad no house salads were offered only a ceaser salad as an entree. All in all we were not impressed with the service or the food as my wifes cut was dry and about an eighth in thick and the presentation was not impressive , also our baked potatoes seemed like they were reheated and from the night before as they were luke warm. So in my opinion I think you would do better off eating somewhere else, even if you do get the "complimentary" prime rib dinner, I would maybe wait until the place goes back to normal instead of getting leftovers The end result is if you do decide to dine at " The Grill" order something else off the menu other than the prime rib.

Large plate of beef nachos! So yummy!

The shop is very small and a bit tight, but does have both indoor and outdoor seating options available which is really nice. Pricing for their offerings are not publicly listed, which may be by design. We ordered a small cappuccino, a BLT and a ham and cheese sandwiches. The sandwiches are very large (could be easily shared) and the coffee was good. However, the price was quite steep ($38.08). We do understand that BH is a tourist town with no other industry, but nearly $40 still seems a lot for two sandwiches and one coffee. We also didn't find the service super friendly or particularly efficient. At delivery of our food the server said: "I guess I forgot to mention sandwiches come with a bag of chips. Get what you want from the back wall". It took a moment to figure out where the chips were (the back wall is technically the bar) but I finally realized they are on the right side of the shop. We also found it amusing that the options on the Square terminal (for what is basically a self service coffee shop) had suggested tips options as: 25% - 30% - 35% Again, a bit steep for the service provided, but no complaints for the quality and flavor of the options we tried and if we are back in the area we may decide to split a sandwich.

The price is a bit steep at ~$60/person for dinner on the weekends, but the quality and variety of food is decent for the price. First off, the queen of the buffet, or any buffet in my opinion, are the lobster tail and snow crab. When you pay, 2 redemption coupons are handed per person; one for a lobster tail and one for 2 snow crab clusters. Although this may seem like it is not much, it really is plenty of food unless the plan is to only eat lobster and snow crab (please refer to attached picture). The pho station is ok and the prime rib was very salty, but other than those two, everything else tasted great. Service is top notch. Our server checked in on us and cleaned up our discarded lobster/crab remains very quickly and frequently. Make sure to tip your servers even at buffets!

Our server came by shortly to take our orders, and we received our food within a very reasonable time-frame. However, none of this was impressive considering the fact that the restaurant was mostly empty. The food itself was equally unimpressive. Before booking, I called several times to confirm availability and finally got through to someone who told me there were openings at 2:45 and that I could finish the booking online. I completed the reservation online, entered my credit card information, and pressed complete, so I was surprised when I visited today to be told it appeared the booking had not gone through. When we arrived, the spa couldn't find our reservation and explained they'd been having problems with their new booking system. A few staff members even mentioned that other guests had experienced similar issues. My mother-in-law was visiting from Pittsburgh PA, and we had driven over an hour for the appointment, so it was really disappointing. We also ended up having to choose different services than we originally wanted because our massage reservation could not be found. Thankfully, the staff was very kind and did their best. They were able to fit us in for manicure and pedicure instead but a different times. The spa itself was beautiful and relaxing, and we still ended up having a nice experience overall. Shelly, our manicurist, was fantastic. That said, I truly never complain, which is why this was especially disappointing. I really hope management gets the booking issues sorted out soon because it put a damper on what was supposed to be a really special day. I also feel like some kind of gesture or acknowledgment would have been appropriate for the mistake. Overall, the staff and service were great, and if we had received the experience we originally booked, it easily would have been a 5/5.

I went on a fairly busy Saturday night, hoping that would lead to a hot, fresh, well replenished experience. It didn't really result in that, sadly. Customer service was pleasant. The chefs were friendly and helpful and our server was great. I thought the iced tea and coffee were both delicious. Taco meat was quite tasty and I appreciated the cookies on the dessert bar were held at a warm temperature. Some things weren't refilled ever during our leisurely visit of 1 1/2 hours: Certain desserts, sides, salsas and accoutrements like chips at the Mexican bar. Each station seemed pretty lacking on variety. Some offerings were kind of lukewarm, like the fried shrimp and mashed potatoes. Would I return? Definitely not during a peak priced meal time. Maybe during lunch or something while visiting the casino. I love variety so I love buffets, even though quality does often lack. However, if you have visited buffets off and on, you learn that some have fresher, hotter, well stocked offerings and others don't. This one wasn't terrible but was pretty meh and disappointing over all. Also a note to this buffet's management. Wynn's buffet in Las Vegas is only $39.99 for a Saturday night. Yours was 34.99. Wynn also didn't have the widest variety but had quite a bit more than yours as well as fresher and gourmet offerings for just $5 more. Some pros and cons from our stay (room 1014): PROS: - the promo included lowest room rate and $20 dining credit per day. A genuinely good deal for the price - the restaurant offers on site are pretty decent, varied, and reasonably priced for BH - staff was 50/50. Literally half were welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly, while the other half was borderline rude or incompetent - the amenities were a nice perk, including a rooftop pool, and two hot tubs (1 indoor 1 outdoor) - the room and bathroom were very spacious with both a shower AND a garden tub - there were public restrooms available in the hallway - the casino floor feels spacious and there is a good variety of slot machines and table games CONS: - Communication in general is very lacking: When we walked into our room there was no literature to showcase on site dining options, WiFi password, or amenities' hours/logistics. The room service menu is not available in the Penn app nor is much information provided about one's stay. We finally found a brochure at the front desk when we went to inquire about where to find a "do not disturb" hang tag (the app live chat was useless for any room information). Room service is upon request only, that info is also not available unless asking a front desk attendant. I requested a Penn play card for gambling, the attendant did not explain how to use it, so it took us two days to realize the card must be inserted in the slots the entire time you play to track usage. You can remove it only AFTER you cash out. - It's extremely frustrating to use the Penn play cards at the machines. We had to constantly try again and again as most readers do not see a card has been inserted. Some machines we completely gave up on... - The room was TIRED (both beds had mattresses which sunk from damage/overuse, both headboards had peeling faux leather behind the pillows, there was random scotch tape on the walls and some holes/dings, the toilet's door jam was coming loose from the wall, bathroom was not extremely clean (heavy dust coating on baseboards, hair on bathroom counter, etc) - Of of 6 elevators to the tower: 4 had broken LCD screens (making it difficult to determine at which level the car would stop), 2 made very concerning cable car noises (we begun avoiding them), all 6 were unsecured (guest key card access on cars was disabled; letting ANY casino patrons access the room floors) - the pool deck has posted adults only hours (daily 7-11pm) however, despite various staff walk through a dozen children were still splashing about at 8:30pm on Friday night - the vending machine on the pool deck was out of service and drinks ordered poolside through the QR code available on tables was not delivered to the pool deck (despite note of location in order) - the ice machine on floor 10 was out of order and no microwave was available in the rooms (or in the vending room) making it impossible to get takeout if one got tired of in house options. A microwave in the vending room would be a great addition - ambient music in the casino was great mid-week throughout until on Friday night at around 8pm it was set to blast and was along with the ambient slots noise it was no longer enjoyable. We left the floor shortly after - wait staff on the casino floor was scarce both on weekdays and weekends. It didn't seem they were circulating much, and when they did come by, they often skipped us (we are not big drinkers, so it was fine for us, but it left us feeling un-welcomed). Interestingly enough, for both drinks I ordered during my stay (handed a $5 bill for tip) I was asked if I wanted any change back :-/ - the floral scent that's pumped through the AC units on the casino floor can quickly become overwhelming and a bit nauseating. I understand casinos do this to cover up odors and have a 'signature scent' however a lighter less floral aroma may be a better choice Overall a good value for us (over low-occupancy days and with a good promotion) and a change of pace for a fun few days away from the hustle and bustle of city living.
