QUICK ESTIMATE - needed to pick someone quickly in order to get painting done before I moved into…read morea new house and Eric gave me an estimate after his walkthrough. Immediately after the walkthrough, as he was walking out, he crunched some numbers and gave me a price. The other companies didn't get back to me until EOD the next day at the earliest. One of the other companies didn't contact me until after Eric's team had completed the entire job! (3 days later) FAST COMPLETION -- 2-Day turnaround for approx 1200 sq ft . We got really lucky because it was going to rain and many of the guys working on exteriors were now available to help on my home's interior, so I ended up getting a team of 6 guys going all at once! I wouldn't expect this for your job unless you check the 10-day weather report and call ahead for rain days, but it really worked out for my wife and I. DETAILED - attention to detail was amazing. I am a little critical of edge work and could find almost no spots that needed touching up after the job was done! FRIENDLY - Eric, Orhan, and the whole team were really nice and really considerate of our new home. CLEAN - The team left the house free of drips, dust, or footprints. I think they left it cleaner than it started! VETERAN-OWNED -- As an Army brat, I'll just always give an edge to a vet. COMPETITIVE PRICES - I'm putting this last on purpose because I wouldn't place the most weight on price. Did they cost less than the other companies? Yes!!!! BUT, I hired because I was under the gun time-wise, and Eric and his team finished the work before my wife and I moved into our new house. And he was just nicer than some of the other folks that gave us estimates. LIFETIME CUSTOMER -- From doing the estimate to getting the work started, they were quick, decisive and a pleasure to work with. For any painting needed on my house in the future, I will be giving them a call.

Renova saved our home sale! We were selling our house and the buyers wanted us to remove an…read moreunderground oil tank that was properly decommissioned in 1994 (after only 18 yrs use). Qualified Tank Services removed the tank and because it was corroded, wanted to do $18000 of remediation--without any soil testing or testing of any kind at the time of the removal! QTS wanted to dig out 25 TONS of soil and put in a bedrock well for water testing and they filed a NJ DEP case saying there was contamination--again without any testing. We contacted Renova to do soil testing and they were able to come out the next week. The soil tests came out great, in other words--no contamination! They compiled a thorough report which we sent to the DEP. The case was closed and we were able to proceed with the sale of our home. Renova is an ethical company and I highly recommend them.

Seemed like a nice guy, good sales pitch,but was unable to deliver on his promises. He said he would be on the job but never was. His workers came unprepared, were left sometimes with no direction and were unable to make the simplest of decisions. Not a good experience. My advice would be to spend a little more on a reputable guy with good references. Since then I have come to realize that good contractors get plenty of work by word of mouth. Don't be fooled.
