I would have to wait to find out if he was interested in purchasing guitar. After waiting 35 minutes; not being asked help with anything else, what I assume was the manager told another customer de-specialist to go find out if he was purchasing said guitar. After the de-specialist went and asked the instructor he came back laughing and saying sorry bud. WTF. Mencheys you can go suck it! Does the instructor not have a guitar of his own? Doesn't he get a discount that would have been money wasted? Does he play every guitar through there to see if he is going to buy? Seems like a lot of new product going straight to used. That is why the guitar was on discount because of all the scratches on the pickgaurd! Yeah... Mencheys you can go suck it. Customer Service horrible, Stock discounted because instructors playing instruments during instruction, and I could think of a lifetime of negatives. If you live in the Hanover area take your kids to Coffey's Music in Westminster where they know how to treat guests and have great instructors. P.S. Spellcheck for Mencheys is Henchman! In 2025 the staff is still very helpful and friendly. Adam helped me file a claim for a fairly expensive item that I purchased two years ago with three year replacement coverage through Guitar Center. We filed a claim on the Phone, and he even helped me with completing the information by sending a screenshot of the invoice. Great people, great service, and great products. I'm glad to deal with real people face-to-face in a world that is becoming increasingly automated.

Paid to have a guitar repaired there. Was told it was fixed and the issue was not actually…read moreaddressed at all. The issue was that one of the pickups was quiet in the middle position. I was told when I went to pick it up that they couldn't find anything wrong other than a small piece of metal that they removed must have been cutting the sound out (did not test the guitar in the store just took their word). Come to find out, when I got it home, that the issue is the switch and that both pickups don't come on until the switch is midway between the middle and bridge position...you would think that when paying for a repair this is something they would figure out easily. Complete waste of money. I also asked them to take a look at a fret-buzz and they fully forgot so that was also somewhat annoying (I paid for a setup and repair). Guitar was exactly the same when I got it back down to the same exact fret-buzz. I was so dissatisfied that I refused to even drive back there to get a refund. Ultimately, untrustworthy. I believe whoever did the "repair" was deceitful to me. Now in all fairness, this was a few years back and the same people may not be working there anymore...I just thought of it again when I had to repair the exact same issues myself.
