At first ABC seemed like a great value.. low cost of installation for new gutters and guards…read more Unfortunately, now that some time passed, the craftsmanship and quality are not holding up. When contacted, ABC decided to deflect and blame the roof (keep in mind no issue for years before the change in gutters) as the issue. Upon requesting them to come out and take a look to fix the issue they responded it would come at a cost.. which I agreed is fine. After several attempts to get someone onsite to diagnose and repair the issue they stopped responding to me. I've since asked other professionals to review and diagnose the issue. As one can see from the photos, a drainage issue was created by installing the gutter guard under the shingle and above the drip edge which created a bump/gap and does not allow water to roll down into the gutter. The issue is exacerbated now that it's had a few years to present itself as shown by the dark staining on the plywood. I now must pay out of pocket to fix the issue at a cost equal to or greater than what ABC originally charged me for installation of all new gutters.

He showed up on time and did a visibly good job of installation from the ground looking up ! They looked great and he said they were guarantied for a lifetime for the gutters and workmanship! It rained about a week after the installation and I had water running down from between the gutters and the facia of my roof ! I called him and made him aware of the problem that day! He said he would be coming to fix the problem within a week! After he didn't show up I called him again and he said he had been on an alaskan cruise and would be coming out the next week. I've called him several times over the months and sent him videos of the problem trying to get him to come back and fix the problem and he still hasn't shown up !! Before he started doing the work I asked if he was experienced in putting gutters on homes with metal roofs and he said he had done several projects that had metal roofing ! I'm afraid that with all the water getting behind my gutters that I will eventually be having a problem with a rotting fascia and having to replace my roof that's attached to the fascia and drip edge that holds the roof in place!

Here are things that made them stand out: 1) They are certified "SELECT ShingleMaster™ (SSM)" on Certainteed's website 2) When they came to give a quote, they looked in our attic as well--doing this they noticed an airflow issue vs. how houses used to be made vs. current which they corrected when doing the roof 3)They sent us a THANK YOU LETTER for the opportunity to provide us with a quote (love this!) 4) They quoted the correct downspouts for the larger gutters we requested 5) They replaced the rubber boots around the pipes with metal ones that would not get cracked 5) They painted the pipes that are coming up from the roof black to be less noticeable 6) They explained any problem areas and how to combat this going forward 7) They put a splash guard by gutter areas that previously flooded and 8) After the job was completed, THEY SENT US COOKIES!
