I asked him some questions about the work I was planning on doing for the house I just bought, and he was able to get me an initial quote really quickly. Attached to the quote was all of New Roof's social media, insurance, and license information which was really nice. The price I paid vs the price I was quoted was about 15% different, but I chose to have 700$ of custom apron flashing added and was warned of the cost associated with some repairs that needed to be done underneath the actual shingles before hand. Alex was very quick to get back to me and very respectful to my home (taking off his shoes, making sure my dogs could use the bathroom while the roof was being repaired, etc). We were well warned about what the process of getting the roof replaced would be: the noise, the debris from the roof, the time it could take, etc. The best part of the process was that they were actually able to fix a major moisture issue in the roof I was unaware of, and my house smells a lot better now :). The crew that came to work on the house were great - I didn't personally talk to anyone but it was clear they were working hard and they cleaned up the yard very well. I got pictures of my roof before, during, and after. I asked a bunch of questions along the way and Alex was very responsive and answered all of them. I got about half a dozen quotes for my roof before I made a decision - New Roof was on the lower side of the quotes I got, they did not charge me a steep fee which was great (2 other quotes I got included one and the fee wasn't cheap), and I really appreciated how quick Alex was to respond to my messages and that I never felt "sold" during this process. My roof wasn't easy, the house was built in 1979 and had a roof that was previously done poorly installed and I think they did a great job replacing it and fixing the issues that were a result of the previous work. The clean- up was perfect. There were no short cuts taken. He did two houses across the street from mine. They are also really good looking. What sold me on C.P.R. is the owner. He explains everything, never dropping the ball on communication. The date was set for the project and not delayed. Matthew is extremely mindful and considerate person. The claims process went well and all I was asked for was to pay my deductible. Heather, James, and the TruRelief crew installed a new roof on my house and I'm grateful for the quality, the way it was tastefully done, and that it was installed quickly. Mr. Ortega paid my house a personal visit before the install and recognized that my 5" gutters were insufficient to catch the water coming off roof. TruRelief arranged to have 6" gutters installed for a reasonable price. When the last couple of storms have come through, my gutters have not overflown as they did in the past.
