I liked the service and rate that I received for my pup. I picked up my dog and she wasn't shaken at all which is a good sign for our first visit. My chihuahua usually gets a rate of $25-30 at the groomers and this place was about the same. I dropped them off at 8:30 AM and came back around 11 to pick my pup up. I was a bit thrown off by their crates for holding all the dogs. There are crates stacked on top of each other where they place the dogs as they wait for their owners. My biggest concern is if there were an earthquake and the stability of these crates. I much prefer something that's built in or looks safer for my dog. I'll come back again a few more times. I didn't mind the service at all. They did a good job but just not too sure about the crate situation. read more

Today is my first time taking my dog to this grooming place. She hasn't both been groomed for a few months after her usual place closed during the pandemic. I'm so glad that I found this place where both the owner and groomer are super friendly and the price is very reasonable. It was pretty easy to get an appointment on Saturday morning and it took about three hours total. I picked up my baby and her hair looks exactly the same as the style I wanted. Got my German Shepard/Husky Mix groomed as well as my rag doll for a summer shave here a couple of months ago. It was my cat's first time at the groomer and I was a bit nervous for her, since I have such a hard time even trimming her nails. They have a cat specialist who does the cat grooming and as soon as I handed Black Dahlia off to her in her carrier, I knew my cat would be in good hands! She is definitely a cat person and treated her with a calm, careful and patient approach. When I returned to pick her up Dahlia had a lot to say, but she was super happy, and I really think she loved her new doo. hahah! Her fur has almost grown totally back since (the groomer recommended "no more than once or twice a year to shave her"). Kylo Ren looked handsome, and did well with his bath and grooming. He was sleek and beautiful when I picked him up. As I write this review, I realize it's probably time to take them back for baths. Thank you Land of Paws! You are awesome! Just left and had a wonderful experience! My dog is a senior with separation anxiety who can be difficult to groom. He runs away anytime I pick up a brush, nail clipper or lead him towards a bath. I really appreciated that when I called to book my appointment, all this was considered and got recommendations on what time to come to ease him into things. We went over any concerns again when I arrived and he was ready to pick up a few hours later. I even got a call when to head out so he wouldn't have to wait for me. He came home a happy, clean, floofy boy! The price for full service was really affordable especially considering his size and age. I had no issues landing an appointment date for my cat here that wasn't months in advance! I was able to schedule an appointment a week after calling. This is my cat's 2nd time getting professionally groomed. The first time was at Fur, where they told me my cat is a very angry being-- I warned the groomer at Land of Paws of this beforehand, just in case my cat decided to plot someone's death today. They shaved my cat's stomach, leg armpits, back legs, and were able to brush out all the tiny little mats on his back. These were all areas of concern that I brought up at the beginning and the groomer here was able to address them with no issues. Service took 2 and half hours, not sure if that's considered quick or slow, so do what you will with this information! It wasn't any issue for me whatsoever. I was very surprised to hear the total as I was expecting it to be much higher than what it actually was! Also very surprised when the groomer told me that my cat was a very good boy & handled certain things well. The other grooming place must've done something wrong if my cat was really that angry with them. I will say though... The main cat groomer here, not the most approachable, but she knows her stuff. She's knowledgeable and answered every one of my questions. I will definitely be coming back for all of my cat's grooming needs! read more

We were a little nervous about getting him groomed since his first groom (elsewhere) was as close to a shave as he could get because his fur was so matted post-shelter. I asked her to groom his face and paws short since the long fur seemed to irritate him there, and that we liked his curly fluff. We also wanted him to be comfortable with the coming summer heat. She was considerate about asking about any sensitive areas or health issues, and handled him like a pro when she put him in his waiting crate. When I picked him up a few hours later, she had done a great job. She kept his tail and ears long, and trimmed his butt, limbs, and body, but still kept him fluffy and cute looking. I just walk in there and tell his groomer "the usual" and she remembers exactly how I like his cut (ie: leave head hair a bit longer; mustache & beard trimmed just a bit).
