I didn't ask much, simply for them to repair the damage that wasn't there before they arrived. Unfortunately the owner is extremely unprofessional and will not take responsibility for his crew.

Said it happens once in a while the gps system they used didn't give accurate coordinates so my neighbors fence was fine after all (crisis averted) but when asked if they could restake the lines was told no that's an additional cost to come out despite having done the first survey incorrectly. After providing card information I was told that it would be an extra $100 to have a specific date set in stone and notified of the day that the survey would be completed. Needless to say, Rose, was exceptionally dry and rude. Even after just letting her know that I just needed them to call me when they were heading my way so that I could be on site. After more back-and-forth of her declining and claiming the site surveyors could not even provide a courtesy call when they were heading to my property I requested my card to be taken off file and to remove me from their schedule. I was immediately hung up on, with no response. I called back immediately and was met with an exceptionally nice Rose claiming we must have been disconnected. Obviously not the case, but I needed a verbal confirmation that the card would be removed. Had she just acknowledged she was removing the card and not hung up on me, I would not be writing this review, in spite of how unprofessional she is. With a looming closing date of our new dream home, and sub-par realtor who was less than communicative, and couldn't seem to guarantee anyone could do the survey, We became desperate and turned to Yelp. I left messages for about 4-5 survey companies, on a late Friday night after business hours. I left message after message detailing our needs and time constraints. By the time I awoke on Saturday morning, Alan had already texted me, to let me know he could move some things around and could have his guy there on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Not only did Peninsula Survey do a great job on time, but Alan was the only one to return my call, of the 4 or 5 surveyors that I left messages with. We did pay probably slightly more, but our new home is in Melbourne Beach and his team traveled almost 2 hours to do the survey...well worth the excellent work and peace of mind. We had so many issues with the county that the project start date was delayed by more than 30 days. Once we got things started, Volusia County struck again and delayed our project more than 60 days requiring a Floor Variance, just before the holidays. They took their time processing everything. The entire time, Tim was patient and understanding. He kept in touch with us and did not waste time when we were able to move forward. He was a wealth of knowledge and guidance for us. His experience with materials, preparation, and construction documentation was valued through the entire process. Tim was very resourceful and when the county made things difficult, he had answers and local resources that cut time and kept things moving. He also explained that the area I was concerned about was part of an addition to the original house, which helped me understand why the readings were different from the main part of the home. Most importantly, I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. He could have simply left me worried, but instead he gave me an explanation that made sense and gave me tremendous peace of mind. When you are worried about something as serious as your home's foundation, having a knowledgeable professional who takes the time to explain things honestly is incredibly valuable. Update to our review of May 4, 2024…read more All the good things I had to say after Greg had his guys redo the poor first attempt at resurfacing our driveway last year went right out the window this morning. I first attempted to contact Greg via email to schedule the agreed upon annual inspection on June 4, 2025. After hearing nothing for a couple of weeks, he finally responded with a proposal on July 13th which detailed the work to be done at a cost to us of $500. We accepted the proposal that same day. Greg cautioned that he would schedule our work along with other jobs he had in the area, so there could be a wait - which was no problem for us. After hearing nothing for several weeks however, I asked for an update on August 25. He responded on August 28th that he currently had no projects scheduled for the "Deltona or Daytona" areas but would advise when he did. On October 7 he asked if "the next 4-6 weeks" would work for us, to which I immediately said yes, and requested a couple of days advance notice so I could power wash the driveway. Then nothing again for 8 weeks, so I asked again via email on December 7 for an update. Nothing again, so I called and talked directly to Greg on December 17. He was obviously surprised and less than happy to hear from me and arranged to come over on Monday morning 12/22 @ 9:00am to discuss the matter further. He arrived at 8:11 and apparently agitated about something. He then proceeded to tell me immediately that he wanted nothing more to do with us - that we were far out of his normal operational territory and that he simply couldn't afford to support us any further. After some back and forth in which I was trying to figure out just exactly what "maintenance" would be required to keep the driveway looking good, he decided to terminate the meeting by addressing me as "Look Dude, this is going nowhere . . . . . . ." - to which I reminded him I was not "Dude" to him, but instead "Mr. Customer." At this, he departed. I guess he might have thought a bit more about our meeting after leaving because I received a text from him at 9:15am directing me to contact him sometime after the new year, around 1/15/2026 - and not by email (verifiable paper trail?). And for what purpose should I contact Him? To get strung along for another six months? For some more surly treatment? No thanks. Bottom line - these guys are capable of delivering some incredibly nice work; but are equally capable of delivering some incredibly shabby customer service.

Replaced end of double driveway down at street due to cracking…read more Chris and Charles did a very good job in replacing my driveway area. They were prompt, professional and did a very nice job. New driveway area is 6-8 inches deep to stop cracking. They were true to their word and did follow ups to insure everything was good. They were also reasonably priced. Great communication: I would highly recommend them and will call them in the future for any concrete work.
