We had hors d'oeuvres, open bar, soup, salad, steak, lobster, nuts, Cheeries Jubliee, Spanish coffee, and tons of cookies and cakes for dessert. The sound system and microphones worked perfectly and we had a good time dancing the night away. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the staff's organization and attention to detail. And then there's the food--hands down the highlight of the night for so many of our guests. They offer both American and Eastern European cuisine, but we went with an Eastern European menu, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. We got to select 7 appetizers/salads, 3 meat dishes, and 3 hot sides, plus dessert ( napoleon cake and fresh fruit). Every single dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and generous in portion. With that said, there is an issue with some of the misconceptions about this hotel which come mainly with the photos here on Google. #1 - There is NO pool! Don't look at the professional photo of the indoor pool and think this location has one, it does not! #2 - The outdoor seating does NOT belong to the hotel. It belongs to the restaurant on the first floor. If you go out that back spreading from the ground floor hotel side, there is no way back in when the restaurant is closed! You have to walk all the way around the building to get back in. There's not even an exterior door handle on the door. So, just be aware if you're booking for a pool and the outdoor seating looks appealing, then you'll be disappointed. Several of us were when we found out there wasn't a pool.
