We had hors d'oeuvres, open bar, soup, salad, steak, lobster, nuts, Cheeries Jubliee, Spanish coffee, and tons of cookies and cakes for dessert. The sound system and microphones worked perfectly and we had a good time dancing the night away. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the staff's organization and attention to detail. And then there's the food--hands down the highlight of the night for so many of our guests. They offer both American and Eastern European cuisine, but we went with an Eastern European menu, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. We got to select 7 appetizers/salads, 3 meat dishes, and 3 hot sides, plus dessert ( napoleon cake and fresh fruit). Every single dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and generous in portion. You have to walk all the way around the building to get back in. There's not even an exterior door handle on the door. So, just be aware if you're booking for a pool and the outdoor seating looks appealing, then you'll be disappointed. Several of us were when we found out there wasn't a pool. Breakfast is 6:30-9:30 in the restaurant and is included in the room price. You can charge the room for your restaurant purchases for lunch and dinner. All they did was pick the blanket up off the floor that I took off the bed and half made the bed. They just threw it on the bed at an angle and didn't even tuck in the comforter hair that wasn't mine was scattered throughout the room, as if it wasn't cleaned properly.. the towels I received were clean but had holes all in them totally unacceptable. I received a bathmat that was wet that I didn't wet up. When housekeeping came. They took it and didn't replace it so I had to use a towel to step out on to prevent me from slipping out of the bathtub for two days. There was a glob of some mass outside of my door that I asked to have clean and it wasn't after my third attempts it was done but on the positive note Kennedy, at the front desk, took ownership of the situation and did everything she could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Would I stay at this location again probably not but Kennedy made it bearable the week I stayed I get everyone has a job to do, but if you don't wanna clean and your housekeeper, don't come to work don't apply.
