Has the name however, that is about it! Very disorganized,…read morewe waited sometimes a couple months for call backs! Did not deliver what was discussed and agreed upon. We set up the day before and day of the wedding most of our restroom essentials were stolen by staff!!!!!! Did not pay attention to detail at all! Lack experience, especially with setting up for a beautiful event. They were not ready when we arrived, they were still setting up. Dishonest about quite a few things!!! Would not return a phone call after the event to discuss pros and cons, and no follow up call from them as well!! Flowers were not as discussed!!!! We were okay with some of the wedding but it was a difficult process thru out, which should be enjoyable. Honesty is crucial in order to be a good business!

The hors d'oeuvres were fresh, hot, and tasty. The beer and wine were also good. No cheap wine was served and it was quite tasty. The second party was the annual Christmas party, paid for by my company. We had hors d'oeuvres, open bar, soup, salad, steak, lobster, nuts, Cheeries Jubliee, Spanish coffee, and tons of cookies and cakes for dessert. This was one of the nicest, most complete meals I've ever eaten! Loved every minute of it! Since they prepared 600 meals that night, my steak and lobster were not hot, but they were warm. Both were good, but not incredible. Recommend!

I don't even know where to start with how incredible Gilmour was for our wedding! From our very…read morefirst meeting, Diana (the owner) made us feel completely at ease. She was professional, kind, and extremely attentive--open to meeting with us multiple times, walking us through different options, and offering suggestions that we never would have thought of on our own. Her advice truly helped shape the flow of our day and made planning so much less stressful. The venue itself is stunning--elegant yet comfortable, with plenty of space for guests to enjoy themselves. The sound system and microphones worked perfectly and we had a good time dancing the night away. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the staff's organization and attention to detail. And then there's the food--hands down the highlight of the night for so many of our guests. They offer both American and Eastern European cuisine, but we went with an Eastern European menu, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. We got to select 7 appetizers/salads, 3 meat dishes, and 3 hot sides, plus dessert ( napoleon cake and fresh fruit). Every single dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and generous in portion. The food was so good people were still talking about it weeks later! What really sets Gilmour apart, though, is how much they care. We never felt like "just another booking." The owner and staff genuinely wanted us to have the best day possible, and their warmth and hospitality made such a difference. If you're planning a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or any special celebration, I cannot recommend Gilmour enough. They gave us a night we'll never forget, and I'm so grateful to them for making our wedding feel truly magical.

Parking was unavailable at the venue, but was a short walk from the funeral home next door, where we were directed to park. There were pancakes and caviar, as well as some other ethnic treats. My son enjoyed the pancakes, which were a thin consistency similar to crepes. The venue was not large and there was not a lot of seating, but we got there early enough before it started to fill up. I enjoyed the costumed dancers and the cute nesting dolls. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming.

The bathtub stopper was pulled out and when I tried to fix it, it doesn't hold the water. The grout around the tub has just a tiny bit of mold. The room is spacious with a Keurig, microwave and refrigerator. There are adjoining rooms, hooks for coats, Dove products, nice size closet and bathroom. The bedding is clean. Ample parking, handicapped friendly. There's a restaurant in the hotel that was very busy. It had the Italian desserts from my youth. The rooms are not that quiet, the adjoining room next to me is not soundproof, there is a very loud TV, and a lot of people talking loudly. The outside of the building is appealing. Breakfast is 6:30-9:30 in the restaurant and is included in the room price. You can charge the room for your restaurant purchases for lunch and dinner. The hotel staff at the front desk was very nice to work with and looked professional instead of slovenly dressed and not caring about their customers attitude. I would stay here again if I came this way, but hoping that the room next door to me was quieter, lol

The good: -every staff member I spoke to was very friendly -they actually respected my request not to be disturbed. I can't tell you how many times I've hung the do not disturb placard on my door at hotels only to have cleaning staff try to barge in at like 9 AM. -spacious kitchenette. It included real glassware, a two-burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size fridge. It was better stocked than I expected. -Loved the kitchen counter with high back chairs. I wound up working here the most. -The outside amenities looked really nice but obviously closed due to the season/weather. There is a nice courtyard with a fire pit. -I bet pets would find this very comfortable. -Location is great. Legacy Village is around 5 minutes away, so I got takeout from restaurants there The not-so-good: -The peep hole in my door was scratched . . . like intentionally vandalized, which is just creepy. - The TV situation left something to be desired. Most hotels I've stayed at lately had TVs with the ability to log into streaming platforms. If I was staying here long-term, I would have appreciated that. But even worse, there was no way of seeing the Guide and no channel directory provided. - The mattress was not good. It was the situation where the center was totally sunken, so I kept getting sucked in. Couch and chair were also pretty uncomfortable, but kind of what I expected. -paid for a room with a jetted tub, but the tub honestly looked old and worn. I'm not saying it was dirty, but it looked kind of iffy, so I chose not to use it. - Weirdly there was only decaf coffee provided -My floor had more of a party vibe going on than I expected, but then again, it was the holidays, and it quieted down for the most part by midnight. It was not annoying enough to merit a complaint, but if you are more bothered by that than I am, be aware. - There were just strange things missing that you'd expect to see. No clock in the room. No binder with information about the hotel, things to do in the area, etc. Which just seemed strange since I'd imagine a lot of people staying here are going to be spending a few days. No channel directory for TV. Not even a pad of paper on the desk. I'm not sure if I'd stay here again or not; there is another location closer to my home that looks like it has been updated. If you were just needing a place to crash for the night, this hotel is fine, but if you plan on spending a lot of time in the room (like I was), it could have been more comfortable.
