I loved how the ballroom is set down below the lobby space, the tile details on the floors, and the beautiful molding around the stage. The cozy vintage-style booths around the floor area are also so fun! While I was not here for a fancy event, I could really see it also working great for a wedding, banquet, or party as well. Bonus- I met Megan the event coordinator for the ballroom and she was so sweet and welcoming. Hope to be able to attend something at this space again!

We got to eat shrimp while looking at the aquatic tanks. Seemed odd. But the appetizers were good. They had servers walking around and a few bar stations set up. The team working the service were awesome. Friendly and smiling! The food was amazing. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had filet mignon. The chicken was tender and the sauce delicious. My favorite was the green beans with red peppers. Really well done. The dessert was tiramisu. It was also well done. Great job Chefs! The entertainment was Disco Inferno. So a freaking Friday 3 PM wedding on the west side of town - with a 2 hour window before the 6 PM cocktail/7 PM reception. This was hard to find and once in the parking lot - it was still confusing. The cocktail hour was on a terrace - outdoors and rather chilly. And not wheelchair friendly as my elderly mom could not make it to this part. Uneven flooring, jammed with people and tables and chairs to maneuver. Plus there is no elevator to get her down from the reception area. Just bad planning on all levels (no pun intended). I think the food on the patio was good - it looked good but hubby wasn't hungry and there were so many people, I only ended up trying one chicken skewer thing as a waitress wandered by with a tray. It was very good. I also don't know about bar service as again - we don't drink and hubby never offered to get me a soft drink. Plus - no place to put it and eat while standing, too. So just was well. We were seated upstairs for the reception. The room has these huge metal black steel pillar-beams which blocked my view from everything happening - cutting the wedding cake, bridal dance, etc. And I was seated at the family wedding table. The room was too small for the size of the party. When the dancing started, the music was so loud those seated at tables could not talk. I don't think it was the DJ's fault for having the music too loud - we were just all crammed together right by the dance floor. One good thing - the food was absolutely delicious. I went crazy and had the beef. It was a huge serving. I would have preferred med-rare - but no choice given the size of the party. I was just happy to get a choice: beef, salmon, chicken. The squash was also fantastic - with asiago cheese. YUM! Don't know about the potatoes but they looked good. Rolls were average. Salad was good. And I guess dessert doesn't count as it was wedding cake. I do not recommend this venue for a reception for almost 200 people. Pick a bigger place. I don't imagine it was really worth the cost.

She listened to what we wanted, was easy to get a hold of, had great ideas. She and her team were extremely helpful, and with her guidance our wedding ended up being gorgeous. Hilary made wedding planning easy. The venue is unique, and cool and so many of our guests complimented us on our choice and said that they had never been to a wedding like ours. We had an amazing time and are so happy with our decision. We had 110 guests and that was the perfect amount of space- although smART Space is larger and could have accommodated more people we did not feel as if the space was too big. 110 was the perfect size for our ceremony and cocktail hour in HEDGE.

The historic mansion has a few larger rooms that can be utilized. It will not house a large event, but smaller parties fit nicely. There is an added on event space to the one side and they will add tents. The back patio was a beautiful backdrop for a cocktail hour. There was a nice stone patio with walkway in the woods perfect for outdoor ceremonies. The food was excellent and presented beautifully. On the downside, parking is a hike and a hilly one at that. For accessibility, you can pull right up in the circular drive fro drop off if needed.

I attended fish fry at this location hosted by the Cleveland Field Kitchen that was hosted in the Great Hall. The Great Hall is very spacious, has a stage, and remnants of basketball hoop. It is very minimalistic but very spacious. I did not interact with any of the venue's staff while there (only unaffiliated event organizers) so can't comment about their service. There are other amenities that I've noticed while onsite including a kitchen, nature/walking trails, two playgrounds, and plenty of parking. Whether you're planning a business meeting, youth activity, bridal shower, or private party, the Family Life Center seems to be a good destination. I would recommend this venue to anyone interested in a scenic hideaway.

There's a bar and also a separate room to the side. There are also a lot of comfy couches and other seating options. It seems perfect for hosting mixers giving attendees opportunities to mingle in various areas. The space seems to comfortably fit a lot of guests. According to the Lounges website, they offer tours and allow inquiries about space rental. I can absolutely see someone leveraging this space for networking mixers, entrepreneurial panels, or a group photoshoots. It's definitely a blank canvas with a lot of potential. It's also one of the few artistic places in the city that have a building of their own offering more privacy. I went to various events here - fashion shows, markets, food events, Christmas celebrations, and other. There are multiple huge spaces, two bars, and a lot of space to create your perfect event. I have also seen various very cool lighting in this space. I last visited women's event tonight at this location. The owners were very friendly and worked in collaborative manner with the organizers. The space was able to host over 200 guests and still allowed ample space to roam. This event space has large onsite parking lots. Street parking is also available in the area.

The space was perfect for it with it's blank interior and warehouse vibes. The restrooms were clean, the bar was great, and the staff was friendly. I liked the separate stage area and the multiple photo ops scattered around. Parking near the venue was not hard to find either. The only bummer was that it was shut down early because of the neighbors complaining about the sound. Word on the street is they won't be able to have shows here anymore. And by no fault of the venue whatsoever. Hopefully they can eventually find a way to make it work because it was awesome. No matter the event, I can see this venue being a lovely option. Whether a wedding, special event, heck even a conference, or work gathering, this space is a solid choice.
