Great place. Authentic Bavarian food. Nice staff. The interior is very traditional and cozy. The Biergarten is one of the nicer ones in and around Munich. We had a mushroom soup and asparagus salad. As entree we had the goose plate (incl a slice of ox and a quarter duck) with dumplings and veggies, and a different filets (beef/pork/turkey) with Spätzle and veggies. Both dishes were delicious. As desert we ordered the strudel combo. Everything was fresh and hot. Homemade and lots of food. Very tasty! Absolutely recommend it! read more

Wir waren wegen einer Einladung hier. Irgendwie wird der Begriff "Landgasthof" recht ernst genommen. Das Essen ist wirklich recht ländlich. Was ich selbst nicht verstanden habe (aber anscheinend üblich ist) war der Umstand, dass in der Vorspeise (Abendessen) Weißwürste verarbeitet waren. Als wir den Braten serviert bekamen fiel mir sofort der Geruch auf. Das war eindeutig aus der Mikro. Die Nudeln die meine Frau hatte waren im eigentlichen Sinne mehr wie eine Nachspeise zubereitet. This is a very good restaurant with great Bavarian food on offer. The service is excellent with a good range of beers to compliment your meal. In the better weather, there is a spacious beer garden in the back yard. read more

My stepson wanted to sit outside so it was the bartender who came out and took our order. Service was a bit on the slow side. We observed though that at this region of the world, servers seem to be trained not to rush customers so you would need to let them know if you are in a hurry. If you didn't, then it would be safe to say you will have to ask for the bill once you're ready to pay otherwise you might wait a while. Anyway, the pasta was delicious per my stepson. My husband and I also enjoyed the pizza that we split. I am also glad that my lemon soda (Italian brand) was the perfect refresher for quite a sunny day.
