Our sessions was for our newborn daughter and the video and photos are just amazing. The sets were insanely creative - office, closet, lounging at home, etc. I think we were there 6 hours. We didn't know they but they have training and a certificate for newborn photography which is actually very difficult. The newborn needs to be asleep during the actual photography for safety reasons. They were extremely kind and understanding as this requires putting the baby to sleep between costume and set changes. This was well worth the trip for us and we would highly recommend!

We did not have Jay as our wedding photographer. But I assumed (incorrectly) that any photographers…read moreworking for him would be professional wedding photographers and know to move around in order to capture the entire reception. Our photographer stood in the same place for the entire reception, therefore capturing the same people over and over. There are no pictures of the groom's family's table or of the wedding party table. We have the same dancing pictures with the same people over and over. There is only one formal picture of the wedding party, very poor selection of photos of the bride only and none of the groomsmen getting ready when we specifically asked for that. Truly the best pictures we have are ones that friends and family took. Beyond disappointing and upsetting. The other terrible thing about Jay Grubb photography is how long it takes to get your pictures. We waited 18 weeks to get our pictures and then to be that disappointed after that long wait is completely inexcusable. Use another photographer for your precious memories.
