The estimate appointment was very easy to set up and during Daniel went over with me in detail what I had envisioned and how he could make it a reality. He wrote up a contract which detailed every step his team would take to complete the job and gave roughly 1 month to do the complete backyard renovation despite hazardous working conditions with the summer heat. We needed to get our driveway replaced. Kevin came in and bid the job and provided a very reasonable and respectable quote which included the driveway approach/apron. In my city, public works scrutinizes the contractors for approach work thankfully. The other competing contractors on my job would not take not the approach work for either not possessing the proper bond or expertise. Kevin worked with the city and our HOA to get on board. The work came out so well the Public Works department provides Big Johnson's as a referral for other residents looking to pull an approach permit/plan. The driveway worked out so well I contacted Kevin two months later to tackle the hardscape work for my front yard landscape/hardscape project. He just finished up a fantastic wash finish expanded front porch and walkways. I couldn't be happier. His crew is fast and work well together. The guys putting down the forms know what they're doing getting proper grades and pitches set for water sheeting. The finishers are top notch and have a great attention to detail. Within a span of a week or two of meeting Marco (Jr.) for a consultation, we were already so impressed by his knowledge and ability to carefully explain the cement process thoroughly, that we decided to hire M&M for our backyard cement project without hesitation. We were able to get scheduled relatively quickly and it took approximately a day and a half from start to finish for excavation, drainage installation, cement poured with beautiful diamond finishes + a small area with high quality CA fescue turf (my pup loves it!). The final results most definitely exceeded our expectations and we were also so pleased with the quality of the cement after it cured. So long as you have a good, NOT basic, understanding of what you want done then Tony will be in and out of there in no time. Word to the wise about appointment timing, the appointment starting late was MY fault because I missed his final call confirming the time. Once I realized and contacted him, he got out to us very quickly.
