During our long trip home from Tagaytay, we needed to find a place to use their facilities. We wound up both doing our grocery shopping and buying a Christmas tree from this grocery and department store.
We were so impressed first by the clean bathrooms in this store, and next by the wide, and well-labeled aisles in the grocery section. It was not difficult for us to find all our groceries, even though we had never been to this store before. I only had to ask for directions once.
This will be our first Christmas in the Philippines and we wanted to make it special. I saw that they were selling Christmas trees, so I checked them out. There were a few options that I wanted, and I was having trouble deciding between a fluffier tree and a more streamlined tree. I really liked how they decorated the streamlined tree, so my husband surprised me by telling the sales clerk that he wanted the whole decorated tree just wrapped up. We would take that one. The clerk, the manager, and the person who decorated the tree were so astonished and ecstatic that they took a picture of the tree to commemorate the sale. I don't think it's often done that people want to purchase a pre-decorated tree, at least not at that store.
I was pretty astonished myself. I usually do my own decorating.
It was a lovely early Christmas gift. The store treated us so well and packed the tree carefully so that it made it on our long trip home in one piece.
Wish there was a Landmark store close to us, but sadly that's not the case. If we're ever near Nuvali again, however, we'll be sure to visit this location once more. read more
