All new appliances, decent pricing, and what I thought was a great management team for the building. After having lived there for a year, I feel differently and compelled to write a review for others who may decide to live here. Noise: the walls are paper thin, so you will hear neighbors constantly. They are renovating all of the apartments, so it felt like we were living in a heavy construction zone for the whole year. I'm not sure when they will be done renovating all of the apartments, but do keep that in mind if you are sensitive to noise, work nights and need to sleep during the day, or have small children. Bedbugs: there was an infestation on our floor, so much that they were crawling in the hallways. When I first brought it up it took management several days to respond. We asked to break the lease and they would not without paying a fee. Then when they started crawling in the hallways I began submitting maintenance requests... they still only responded after I threatened to call the health department and write a review. I do believe management is using an exterminator to help treat the problem, but it's still an issue. We just moved out a month ago and hope that we did not get them from the hallway... no signs yet, but time will tell. I would NOT use the laundry facilities in the building because of this reason. They should be closed down until the building is free of bedbugs, in my opinion. CHECK THE SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY before moving here, or anywhere for that matter. We did not before moving here and I regret it. I have 2 minor children and this was the most upsetting to me. Management, as well as the person who showed us the apartment, knew about one that lived on my floor and made no hint that this would not be a good fit for our girls and us when we applied to live here. Communication: There is no office on site, so trying to reach someone on the phone for issues beyond maintenance is extremely difficult. The maintenance crew, Anton and Melinda, are wonderful people and we are grateful for all they did while living there. Melinda goes above and beyond for the tenants. I believe the Blue Diamond property management team is trying their best to update the building and clean things up, but I do feel they are more concerned with making a profit over the actual safety and well being of their tenants.

Crooks ,Drug Addicts and thieves now steal your packages from UPS & FedEx as intercom system from lobby stopped working with no attempt to repair or rectify . Now only have one working washer and drier for 101 units while they wasted over $100,000 on a fake non functioning Water Tank ! Also spent over $500,000 refurbishing gym in front of the building that failed 4 times in the past. Elevator has never been certified or licensed and fails multiple times per month ! Things have gotten so bad they moved Management office out of the building and town. Also don't know how building doesn't get fined for a non functioning Fire Alarm that can no longer be heard in units but will shatter your eardrums in stair wells. In short this is a building failing on all levels !

Hart and Iliff did a great job on my HVAC installation installing a new central AC compressor and…read moreheat pump and oil furnace. They did really neat, super clean work. The three installation guys (Michael, Jamie and Darrell) were great! They cleaned the work area and left and everything nicer than it was before the work began. I was really impressed with the quality of their work and the professionalism of the guys installing the system (and they are very likeable personable guys too!) I had 3 other quotes from other companies. Like one review here said, H&I weren't the lowest quote and they weren't the highest quote I received, they were right about in the middle. In the end, I went with them because: 1. I already do business with them for my oil delivery so I already know they are super nice and helpful. 2. They didn't have a pushy salesman that pushed me to close the deal the same day as the quote like another company I had give me a quote did. 3. They were honest (at least I believe they were haha). There was another sales guy from another company that told me BS and I knew it was BS when he told me because in my research I found things that contradicted what he told me (and other techs I spoke to said he was incorrect.). I felt like all the other companies wanted was to close the deal. 4. Whitney and Wyane were there to answer all my questions and believe me, I had a lot. Whitney was extremely responsive to every one of my emails. 5. Overall I just felt more confident in them than the other companies that came to give me a quote. I felt the other companies with salesmen just wanted to close the deal and would tell you whatever just to close it. 6. I liked when they gave me a quote it was one of their techs that took all the information, again, not a salesman. I never felt any pressure with them as I felt with other companies that gave me a quote. 7. They are just really nice to deal with. Overall I am extremely happy we decided to go with Hart and Iliff over the other companies! The AC part of the system has been working great! It's a great improvement over my old AC. I'm looking forward to seeing how the system performs in the winter, especially with the heat pump.
