Their promised delivery date was 1/18 and my drapes actually arrived 1/16, 2 days early! I will NEVER buy anything from FLAKY FY FIBER HOUSE! When we went in they had an impressive showroom and we ended up finding the chair we liked but not the color we wanted. Upon review we decided to order the chair in the color we wanted. They told us that one had actually been ordered two weeks prior so instead or 5-7 weeks, we were looking at 3-5 weeks. Today is week 4 and I had called to check the status to find out that the chair has not even shipped yet. Ship date is now two weeks from today with another 2 weeks for actual shipping time. When the difference in shipping estimate and actual arrival is over a month, I'd call that excessive. Nice staff, nice showroom, but if time is at all a consideration, maybe consider a two hour drive to Billings or Casper.

I'm not sure who owned the lot (Sheridan Motors I believe) but we were backed up right to the side of Balding's building. The people there could not have been more welcoming. They were extremely friendly and treated us as if we belonged there. We asked if they had a 120v outlet outside so we could maintain our batteries and Kelly the proprietor immediately volunteered an outlet on their back patio. As stated above we were there for 3 days and nights, plugged in the whole time. Not once in this time were we made to feel as if we were anything but welcome. When our car was finished and we were ready to head out I went inside the store to offer some payment for the hospitality and electricity used. Kelly wouldn't have it. She not only wouldn't accept any money but seemed almost sorry we were leaving. I don't think we could have found nicer people than the ones we met at Tom Balding Bits and Spurs. As I said before, we don't really have a need for their products but I did look around the store and the craftsmanship is spectacular. If you find yourself in Sheridan whether in need of their products or not. Stop in and say hi for Sean and Kelly.

Cleverly concealed in downtown Buffalo, Wyo.'s "Sheriff Walt Longmire re-election campaign headquarters" on S. Main Street, this is the place for all the fan necessities one could ever desire. Especially cool is that the business is run by Johnson's wife, Judy -- who book fans know from the dedications of all of his books. (She *is* as special as the dedications imply). And Johnson frequently drops by the store. I greatly admired Branch Connelly's tan jacket from the TV series, but was disappointed that it isn't made by Carhartt or some other provider I knew. Judy carries the real thing -- Schaefer Outfitters ranch wear clothing (made in the USA!) and I can happily confirm that the coat is not only a good looking garment, but the match for blustery Wyoming fall weather. (My wife insists I remove my new coat before coming to bed.) In fact, Judy said she persuaded TV producers to outfit some of the cast in Schaefer clothing for an authentic Wyoming look. This is a fun store with super staff (besides Judy) and a lot of clever Longmire-iana. Buffalo is a charming small town with a lot of Western history and many iconic businesses that Johnson has incorporated into his mythical Durant, Absaroka County Longmire universe. Even if you are not a Longmire fan, Buffalo is worth a visit. If you are a fan, this is a "must stop."
