I ordered drapes through "FLAKY" FY FIBER HOUSE 10/18. Promised delivery date 10/23. Also ordered curtain rod from another co. Paid for it all in advance, including installation. Curtain rod arrived fast! After MULTIPLE PROMISED NEW DELIVERY DATES FOR OVER 3 MONTHS, I finally cancelled my order and ordered drapes through another company on 1/10. Their promised delivery date was 1/18 and my drapes actually arrived 1/16, 2 days early! I will NEVER buy anything from FLAKY FY FIBER HOUSE! They have no business listing items for sale on various sites that THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE! THEY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM ALL OF THOSE ONLINE SITES as it makes the sites they are selling on look bad. read more

I stopped in while traveling through Sheridan. The owners are FANTASTIC! There is such a wide variety of fiber for knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, and threads for needle point. There was drop spindles, yarn bowls, loads of pattern and leaning books, projects in kits, all types of knitting needles, crochet hooks, stitch markers, utility holding stuff, and a many classes available by the owner. There is a table there so you can just go and sit while working on your project and chat with the staff. There is even a coffee/tea place across the street!! This place is a gem and I would move there just for it if my husband would let me :) I would highly recommend The Fiber shop to everyone!! read more

I love absolutely everything about this yarn store! Super friendly and helpful staff are always available and willing to assist and answer questions. The store is in what was once a historic home off a busy street going through town, so you have to park across the street at the grocery store or on a side street but it's well worth the short walk to get there. Amazing selection of yarns, knitting needles, crochet hooks, books/patterns and supplies for spinning and weaving enthusiasts. I love that they always have their big table in the main room clear so anyone can walk in to sit down and work on a project or stay after purchasing supplies. I've never had a bad experience there yet and suspect I never will. Truly a must-stop experience if you are coming through Sheridan and like to knit! read more

My favorite local yarn store. They have a good selection of yarns. There have only been a couple if projects where I couldn't find what I wanted. Chris and Donna and the other staff are always helpful when I'm shopping for a new project or trying to fix my WIP. They have a table where you can sit and knit any time and offer classes too. read more
