Inquired on them also pricing of them removing ivy roots from the backyard but they said it would be too expensive and keep using the chemicals that I had been for everything to die. The day he came out to look at everything we spoke on the phone and he gave me a quote which I accepted. We had some days of rain coming so the work did not occur until a week after per my request. He came out and although did a good job of the areas he did do, he skipped a large portion of my backyard underneath the trees. I even questioned it when he sent me pictures as it appeared it wasn't done. He said it was. Sure enough it wasn't and I contacted him the following day asking him why. He told me that I said not to do the areas with the pine straw which is true but that area does not have pine straw. I repeated myself many times and added that if that area has pine straw it was from the trees that have fallen not unlike the leaves. He kept saying he was going to lose money and it would const him more money to go the dump. He then went back out to my house after that call and texted me that it would be an additional $150.00 for the "extra work" and he just wanted to make me happy. I texted him back that I am not happy and I am not planning to pay him more. I even sent him pictures of that area to show him that it never had pine straw as he was claiming but he kept saying that he will lose money. We had numerous texts back and forth and I kept telling him I will not pay extra. He then decided to text me accusing me of not wanting to pay him anything which was never said by me AND I just paid him online 45 minutes prior. I immediately called him within a minute of reaching that text and he chose not to pick up. I texted him that he was already paid and I was offended on his statement. Asked him not to contact me again or show to my property. I now paid him in full for him not doing the entire job. Nobody in their right mind would ask someone to only cleanup half their yard as the first winds would just blow everything around. It is not the customer's fault that you miss quoted your work. It is bad business to take it out on the customer.

Due to weather they had to push out the start day but showed up bright and early on the day of the job and was done in no time. While they were there got a quick quote on a few additional trees and they knocked those out too. Got another quote on the removal of about 20+ trees and again received a more than fair quote and had them perform that job a few days later. As you can see the pricing is more than fair and the job performed is still very high quality. They left the job site in excellent condition and did not damage my property at all with their equipment. I appreciated them coming out, communicating everything that needed to be told, and confirming the work prior to doing anything not on the estimate. If they read this, I hope that they know that my frustrations weren't aimed at them at all. They were great and I'd absolutely work with them again (just not with this company though). As far as the owner, she really needs to take an etiquette class because she is far from professional. One of her employees gave me an estimate that was far from accurate for the amount of work that had to be done. JP didn't even touch the limb that needed to be cut down because he knew that the amount I'd pay wouldn't be viable (I personally didn't know this since I'm not an arborist...that's what I contacted her company for because they're professionals, or so I thought -__-). JP got her on the phone to sort out the issue. I think he thought that she would reason with me since she sent someone out who doesn't quote properly. Nope! She basically made it seem like I was trying to get over on them...mind you...did I make the quote? Ummm no. I stayed as calm as I could with her while she keep throwing the blame at me and making it seem like they did nothing wrong. Before she could continue throwing jabs, I decided to put my business hat on and say "Please...stop...how much is the work that was already done? We aren't going to continue this."
