Never finish the job! Every week they mow my lawn and refuse to cleanup after themselves. They refuse to blow the clumps off the grass which then leaves holes in my turf. They refuse to switch to a smaller lawnmower even though they have had to replace parts of my lawn several times from them leaving tire tracks though the entirety of my back yard. Refuse to work and communicate with others. Poor service, poor quality, terrible customer service. read more

I saw six of their employees in a convenient store and none had masks on. One of them called me an asshole because I asked where their masks were. Another was actually coughing into his hand while at the counter paying for beer. read more

I recently had a patio and sidewalk put in. You want to work with this company. I find the staff to be very patient, artistic, and very customer oriented. The sidewalk that was put in is very different. I wanted it to blend in with the neighborhood without being boring. They cut up the old sidewalk and used the pieces for the new walk. The staff were very clean and were safe in using equipment. They used masked when the cement was being cut. I like that. The back patio was put in a week before Christmas last year and finished this year. The man were very fast and safe, keeping the area clean. The brick layers I find to be very very fast. I am a person who asks lots of questions. I asked many. The supervisor stopped what he was doing, stopping the loud paver saw when needed, and answers me with a smile on his face. In the past I had them come to do their fall cleanup and spring cleanup. Maintenance where needed. Please judge for yourself. You will be happy you did. read more

Landscape Associates of DePere, WI performed poor workmanship, overlooked details in the design plan, handled issues in a rude and impatient manner, and refused to provide an itemized bill for services rendered. A project that should have taken less than a week to complete took over two months. On the first day of planting two young men were sent to our home with the wrong size trees and not enough top soil to meet the requirements of the plan. We had to ask the owner three times before he provided more topsoil. The planting crew did a very poor job of planting the trees, left before watering freshly planted shrubs, and littered the planting beds with plastic bag parts. The centerpiece of the project, three 6-7' serviceberry trees designed to be a "grove" near our front door, ended up being one 6' tree, one 10' tree and one empty hole in the ground. Initially three 10' trees were brought to our house in June. All three trees had lichen on them and did not appear to be particularly healthy. When we asked for trees the size designated in the plan, Gerry Andrews, the owner of Landscape Associates told us he could not get the 6-7' size from his supplier and provided no options to rectify the problem. He demonstrated a take it or leave it attitude to us. We reluctantly accepted the trees. In less than a week's time about half of the leaves on two of the three trees turned brown. After viewing the trees, Mr. Andrews only agreed to repIace one of the sick trees. In an effort to keep the three trees the same size, we requested another 10' tree. Instead, without communication from the company, a 6' tree was brought as a replacement (the size he had previously said was unavailable). We then had two 10' trees and one 6' tree. Weeks later when Mr. Andrews finally agreed to replace the other sick tree, an 8' tree was delivered. Again we were not consulted about the change in size so we did not accept the last tree. If we had, we would have had an odd assortment of three different size trees in our "grove". Finally, since a number of changes were made to our landscape plan during the planting process, we asked for an updated itemized bill. Despite asking for it on four different occasions we have never received it. We believe there may be errors in the bill and we are very frustrated with the lack of transparency in his billing process. Mr. Andrews seemed far more interested in getting paid, than doing a good job. read more

Someone came out last October to discuss what I wanted done for fall clean up. He gave me an estimate of 5 hours (2 people) for the work but said I would be charge for how long they were actually there. They came and completed about half of the 'to do' list and then left an invoice in my door for the full amount of 5 hours. I called and they sent the crew back a couple of weeks later, who again didn't complete everything. Twice they left the biggest project in the yard incomplete. I got the same bill in the mail - 5 hours. I called and asked them to bill me for the time spent, and not what the estimate was for. I got no new bill until now...6 months later, and it's for the SAME ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. After calling again they agreed to a $50 discount (certainly not even close to covering what they would charge me to come out and do the work they left undone in the first place). Clearly this company charges off the estimate and not the time actually spent. What a joke. read more
