I was ok with that because I wanted the yard to look nice for the holiday. This morning he called and said he couldn't get sod today because it had rained and it was too wet to cut it out. He could do it next week some time. Wanting grass along the house and realizing I wouldn't have it be the weekend, I asked if they could seed the area with grass. He quoted me a reasonable price and said he would have someone out in an hour. Paul and Jacob showed up within the hour. They prepared the site and seeded the area. They apologized for the lack of communication explaining that they were very busy as this was the first week the weather was good enough to plant grass. They were nice enough to seed another small area at no extra cost. The two men were very informative, polite, and knowledgeable. They told me everything I needed to do to care for the new lawn.They also said they would check back in a couple weeks to see how the new lawn was coming along. This job came with a satisfaction guarantee. I will be skeptical, but would use them again if there is an occasion. I would request Paul and Jacob to do the work.

He showed me the causes and effects of different situations when it comes to landscape. Although I can't say that I like Rob, he does what he has to do. The way that turf pro works is they do the more business properties before the residential. The reason that they might not have made it to you is because they have a lot of properties to finish with a lot of grass or snow. You will defiantly get work done faster if you own a business and you pay good money because it is money well spent.

Retaining walls are leaning and sinking. Steps are shifting. Mike inspected the site and promised to take care of it. He looked us in the eye and said "I want to have happy customers. I will take care of it". However, 1stChoice continued to make excuses, made no attempt to fix the problems and ignored our requests to fix the problems. Mike lied in his response to our Better Business Bureau complaint, and he did not even bother to respond to our Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection complaint. Two different landscapers were consulted and both indicated the site is a mess and will require a total removal and reinstallation.

That is where my positive experience with this company ends. The estimate was never received, and for the past 4 weeks numerous phone calls and voice mail messages to Kelly have gone unanswered. My recommendation - Don't ever call Kelly Kuether. He's unreliable and inconsiderate.
