I do not recommend nor will I purchase from Landscape Depot due to the poor service, waste of time, and financial impact that it has caused myself and my client. Come to find out, the owner, Steve, was advised by his buddy, Neal Cannon, that the yard was not ready for the sod to be delivered even after I had already purchased it with the promise date/time of delivery. They do business often but this incident ended up costing my client an additional $1035. Neal ended up leaving the site with his worker, ignoring my calls/text messages, and this is after my other helps verified that he was at the site in his truck. Landscape Depot, didn't deliver the sod until 3 days later in which I had to help with the delivery since Steve stated that his driver couldn't make it to the site. This is after charging a $395 delivery fee and no refund or partial refund at that. The 9 pallets of sod made it to the site with the help of my truck and trailer, Steve did bring half of it. Then, we had to off load 9 pallets by hand because Steve didn't have the forklift as stated when the sod was purchased. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Steve was working. Explained my situation, had a landscaper put in some beds and bail on the tilling and sodding. He told me he'd help me out. Within 20 minutes, he had me lined up with a pallet of St Augustine and someone to do the work I needed that day! Can you say miracle worker! On two occasions this guy Steve ( the owner) was rude. The first time I said ok maybe he's having a bad day but the second time unacceptable. The first time we had already purchased some gravel and was waiting to pay and seen some bug killer he was raving about. I turn to ask my husband if he wanted to buy it, he yells " are you going to buy it or what!" On the second occasion we asked about getting some gravel he tells us he doesn't have time and point us in the direction of prepackaged gravel and told us to load it ourselves, yet a customer he knew drove up 2 minutes later and he was eager to jump on the life and load him up. I was first introduced to Steve at Landscape Depot about 2 months ago while I was doing a full re-haul on my back yard. I got quotes for sod from them(landscape Depot who does not get their sod from woerners) and two other landscape companies that get their sod from woerners. landscape depot beat all the prices by $1000 which helped me be able to finish the front of the yard that was torn up by a different company hauling off dirt and get very specific trees for the finishing touch on my back yard. His staff Kirk was the guy who laid the sod and was a very nice and knowledgeable guy when it came to anything green. I originally went to them only for sod but now they have become my go to person for anything involving my yard from stump removal, how to fix the ground after, fixing the ruts, which trees to plant and how to care for them. I have even had questions on Sunday when they are closed and he still return my call to answer any of my concerns. Trust me this is such a relief as a single mother to know there are some great business owners who won't take advantage of my lack of knowledge or try and over charge me. Will likely not be doing business with this place for the foreseeable future. Needed some sod for my quickly deteriorating backyard/mud hole and was told I would be placed on the list for a pallet of sod for pickup the next day. I agreed to this and scheduled to take off work early so that I could be there to pick up my grass. Low and behold, after getting the cash for the payment, leaving work early, fighting traffic to get there, I was told the sod actually wouldn't be there until the following day. Would have been nice to have mentioned this to me before ordering a pallet, and going through all the trouble of trying to pick it up. Turns out this was the only day I was available to even pick up the grass myself, and when opted for another date, that day also didn't work because I couldn't be there before they closed. All of this frustration could have been alleviated had they simply called me back to inform me of the sod not being available till the next day when they knew my number and told me it would be available originally that day. When I asked about how did they confuse the day I showed up with the next day, the guy told me this kind of thing happens frequently. Seriously? Had they called me and informed me the sod couldn't make it until the following day I could have declined the order and made valuable time in scheduling a different place of business. As it stands, I look like the jackass because I'm the one standing there with nothing but my cash in hand and no grass to put down in my yard. To make it more interesting the guy explains they can deliver it for an extra $65 but the drop off would be kinda messy. Glad I came on here and found pictures of what that looks like. Will not return or recommend this place. After arriving and not seeing anyone outside, we walked inside for help choosing a garden soil. We were told by Steve, the owner, that he would be outside as soon as he finished with another customer. About 5 minutes past after seeing that customer leave, so we decided to walk in thinking he forgot about us. He was in his office and came out to greet us. We introduced ourselves and asked two questions about what type of garden soil he had. He went on and on , really not making any sense about how his compost was the best, it's been composting for 70 years, and tried named dropping landscapers that used him, but never really answering, or allowing us to ask our questions. After about two minutes of rambling nonsense, a frantic Steve said "so what do you want, I have to do payroll." At first we were a little taken back and weren't sure how to respond. He then said he would meet us outside to show us what he had. Once outside and my brother and I discussed how rude this guy was so we decided to free Steve up so he can do his payroll. We shook his hand and told him no thanks, we do not appreciate the way you treated us. He didn't seem too concerned so we feel the need to let everyone else know what type of service to expect if you shop here. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I am a landscape contractor of 15 years and used this place off and on for the last 3 years. The owner of this establishment charged me for products that I was un-sure that my company had purchased. After asking the owner to produce tickets that were signed by either me or a company representative, he said that he did not have any and that I knew I had picked up the products. I have never dealt with a place that did not have people sign for materials when they were picked up. The owner then told me that I was going to either pay him or he was going to take care of me himself. After repeatedly asking for signed receipts, the owner came to our yard and forced his way through the door demanding to be paid. The owner later contacted family members of mine and demanded that he be paid. What did any family members have to do with his poor ability to produce signed tickets upon time of picking up materials? This guy acted as he was one a form of substance. I am not the type of person to do a review on anyone but felt that people needed to BEWARE when dealing with this guy and his company. read more
