I'm not in the business of writing bad reviews, but this one can't be avoided. This small company is terrible. Believe the 1 star ratings you see here. I spent a few thousand dollars with this company to do some work including planting 10 evergreens in my yard. I had 5 of the trees die within 2-3 weeks, and it took a lot of back and forth to get them to replace under warranty. Finally they replaced them and the new ones, I continued to water properly and they died again within 3 weeks. Why? They don't know, and they won't provide any hypothesis. But here is what I *do* know: they have no clue how to plant a tree. They dig a hole barely the size of the root ball, they do not add compost to this region's inevitable clay soil, and they plant the trees 30 degrees crooked. All basic stuff, people. Things got downright ridiculous at one point when they kept promising to schedule me in 'next week'.... they carried this game on for 4 weeks never getting back to me and I had to keep on calling. 6 months on, I decided it wasn't worth my time or money and cut my losses. Do you like friendly staff? You won't find it here. The owner will give you a huge attitude as soon as you try to get them to fix anything under warranty. Every phone call consisted of the owner brushing you off, always 'too busy and out the door', interrupting your every word, and holding a personal grudge against you for wanting the job fixed and done right. He will be upset and he will make sure you know it. Do you like privacy? Not with these guys. I politely asked them twice verbally and in writing to never enter my property/backyard without first knocking on the door and getting my permission. They ignored my request, and several times entered my property unannounced. There are some awesome landscaping companies out there with highly trained people and friendly staff. This is not one of them. Landscape Problem Solvers creates problems that they themselves cannot resolve. read more

I hired Landscape Problem Solvers to take care of our HOA landscaping and front entrance. When the work started in the spring, things seemed fine but then the neighbors began to complain about the quality of work (thin pine straw, weeds 24 inches tall, etc). We had 3 sprinkler heads broken by the workers, which we paid to repair. I expressed our concerns with Charles (by phone and text) and his office manager, Nancy (by phone). Things seemed to get better for a week or two and then the complaints from neighbors started again. In June 2014, I texted Charles that we would not be continuing our contract with Landscape Problem Solvers into 2015 and had a follow up conversation with Nancy as well. We paid our 2014 contract and thought that our relationship was over. Yesterday, there was a crew from Landscape Problem Solvers working in the entrance. I called Charles and was told that we didn't end our contract, that a text and phone call is not sufficient notice. I immediately sent an email to Charles and Nancy asking them to stop the work immediately. I was told that I was required to give more notice. I would like Landscape Problem Solvers to accept our termination of services effective immediately. read more
