We are extremely disappointed with this company's workmanship and lack of professionalism. In late summer of 2022, a two-person crew was sent by Jim Brown to install Rosetta steps and a paver landing at our front entry stairs. However, the steps were installed with an unintended curve and significant gaps between the steps and the ground where it was not backfilled. Additionally, the paver landing is unlevel and not centered to the entry stairs. Basically it looks like a DIY job. We contacted Jim, who took over a month to come out to assess the situation. He quickly acknowledged the job needed to be redone and promised it'd be fixed by end of season. However, this did not happen but we remained patient, assuming time constraints before winter caused the delay. In March of this year we reached out to Jim again and a week later he responded, saying he hadn't forgotten and was working on a schedule and would soon let us know when he'd fit us in. As of July 2, 2023 he has neither shown up nor provided a timeline for the repairs. Furthermore, he has stopped responding to our messages altogether. Because of this, we have been unable to proceed with a permanent railing installation and landscaping while we work to figure out a solution without incurring additional costs on top of the over $6,000 already spent. Jim has left us no choice but to seek help from The NYS Dept of Consumer Protection and the Federal Trade Commission in order to ensure that his company rights this wrong. read more

One of their employees unlawfully trespassed on my property with a truck and snow plot attached, pushing snow into our house, damaging our yard and property. When asked to stop and leave the property, the driver reversed the vehicle and gassed forward, plowing more snow up onto our yard and into our house while nearly running me over with the vehicle. Left unanswered voicemails for the company and went to their office to talk to the owner. Sign on the door claims their office is closed until March, 2021. The town and local authorities have been contacted. This company was NOT contracted to be on our property nor will they ever be referred to. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. The owner, Jim Brown, is horrible to work with. Tells you one price to your face, tells you he will write you up an estimate, and then sends you an email doubling his original quote. THERE ISN'T EVEN ANY ITEMIZATION !!!! Do NOT waste your time on this business. He will sting you. Luckily, I caught on to his game before I got stung. read more

The guy that came out to give me a quote was super nice and friendly. He had a quote emailed to me by the end of the day. I had accepted and put down half the payment. We were having the front steps fixed before putting our house in the market. The guys that actually fixed my stone steps were also nice and friendly and did an excellent job. I wish I had taken a picture before we moved. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I get a phone call from a woman from their office saying I needed to pay the remaining balance because it was way past due. I apologized and said I had not gotten a bill. She said balance was due the day steps were finished. I told her I didn't know that and the guys never said anything the day they finished. I told her I could pay right now over the phone. She said there was a 4% charge so I told her I'd send it in the mail. She then said if I could write it out now and they would come pick it up. I told her I was no longer at that address and she said they could come to my new address. (Weird) told her I moved out of state and would put it in the mail. She told me to put it in the mail THAT DAY as it was "very overdue" I mailed it but was very annoyed about her rudeness. And if a balance is due at the time of completion someone should have said something instead of being nasty later on. I would recommended them because they guys did an awesome job but whoever the woman is, is not customer friendly. read more
