Very kind of her! Five13 Studio has gorgeous clothing and jewelry items and even some instaworthy spots for photos! I'll definitely be back to shop soon. This biz is located just down the way from Morelia's Paletas, The Cactus Club and The Brown Sugar Collab. I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

Walked in today with a coworker and I couldn't find it on the rack. *tears of sadness* I browse the sale rack as I morn in silence. My coworker said "is this it". A light from heaven shown down with all it's glory as she held up my beloved chevron black and white maxi skirt. "YES" and I snatched it. Thank the good Lord it was a large. I would have probably bought it anyway if it were a small and squeezed my thick'um thighs in it. (Don't judge...you know you've done that before). Here's where I get irritated. I'm happy and I asked the sales girl to hold it for me as I need to go back and get my wallet. I could have sworn she rolled her eyes in her head and I politely said that I would be back...no need to worry. She just grabbed it and said "Name?" wow....someone's got the Monday blues. So I went back and the OTHER nicer girl helped me. Anyway..that's my story. Check it out. It's a trendy little place and dangerous for me as it's on my way to work....blah. I placed an order with Girl Tribe Co. expecting standard fulfillment, but it took an unacceptable…read more90 days to finally receive my items. By the time the package arrived, the window of time I actually needed the items for had completely passed. When I reached out to request a full refund due to their massive delay, customer service refused. They claimed that because the item was a "pre-order," their standard 15-day shipping window did not apply, and they would only offer online store credit.To make matters worse, I am expected to pay to mail the package back just to receive credit for a store where I no longer want to shop. Forcing store credit on a customer after a three-month delivery delay is terrible business practice. Buyers beware of their hidden pre-order policies and lack of actual refund options.
