Upon entering the store, we could see two women (employees) talking to one another. They didn't look up or acknowledge us. No worries. But the next person who came through the door, they both yelled out "welcome in" and I looked at my friend to say, "did they say anything when we walked in?" She acknowledged they didn't. My friend was looking for items for an upcoming business trip and I was just looking around. No one said anything to us still. The two employees continued their chatter. I walked closer to the registers where they were located looking at shirts and only then did one of them speak. I never turned around when I responded. Now, Versona isn't a place that I usually go. I have been in one other location. They were extremely helpful and welcoming. They were engaging and wanted my friend and I to have a great experience. Here, they were more concerned with their conversation. They have a major selection of clothing, colors, jewelry and styles. The store is really nice. The clothes are a good quality and for the price, you will really love your items. I highly doubt I will return to this location. read more

Been coming to this store atleast 3 yearly faithfully and was so disrespected today by there manager and other co workers. The co worker jumped into the conversation which made me feel attacked , all because I was trying to return a pair of pants I brought a few days ago. I had the receipt and all the tages but because it was not physically attached to the item they refused to exchange it and spoke down to me. I asked them are the prepared to loose a longterm customer and the co worker nodded yes. I didnt allow these young ladies who clearly have not been properly trained in customer service ruin my day. There are plenty of store to shop from where I won't be treated in this manner as a long time customer. By these comments on customer service at various locations, I see that this is a pattern and I will not recommend anyone I know to spend their money there unless this unprofessional behavior is not address. I bought a blouse. Did not end up liking. Had tag and receipt and they would not honor the return. But because tag was not attached they couldn't take back. Never worn. I used to go to Versona often, but this summer they scaled their Jewelry waaaay back and are concentrating on clothes which are mainly for younger people. They don't exactly go on a 69-year-old lady. This is why I probably will not be going back. read more

Holy giant accessory store, Batman! Versona accessories opened up last week at The Arboretum and is well organized, well lit and packed to the gills with every type of affordable costume jewelry and accessory under the sun. Ladies of all ages will enjoy perusing the racks...whether you're 45 and looking for a cozy poncho or 21 and seeking some sparkly hoops. It's there for you. The knits speak to a bit of an older crowd but there were a few on trend pieces that caught me eye. The clothes really didn't wow me overall, but, they're definitely on the affordable side. I did spy an adorable fall jacket for only $50. The jewelry selection is vast and supremely affordable - perfect for finding a gift for just about any lady in your life. Whether it's a pack of substantial, bejewled bangles for $10 or a sequin clutch for $15, variety is definitely the spice of life here. I ended up picking up a pair of comfy leggings, a few bangles and some uber comfy and cute socks to layer underneath my boots for fall*. This is a long story so bare with me. I was completely ignored by a female employee the entire time I was in the store . I had several dresses in my hand and was never asked if I needed a dressing room . I then said excuse me and pointed to the multiple dresses in my hand . She yells it's open so I look and one dressing room was open . I try on the dresses and love them, I don't want to buy them there but the website indicates the size is not available. So I wait 2 minutes for this employee to finish what ever she's doing and check me out . She checks me out without a thank you and I get my bag and let her know, it was the worst customer service. She then tells me I'm the rudest customer because I "yelled" at her to open the doors to the dressing room . So then I leave, I'm fuming at this point . I think to myself corporate should know and it can't get any worse . Well, I was wrong . I get a call from Nikki the district manager for the store in Knoxville, Tennessee. I explain to her what happened. I told her I left negative reviews. She has the audacity to tell me that it shouldn't be handled that way . She's sorry I had a bad experience. I said , let me stop you right there your not upset over my experience your upset I left bad reviews. This conversation is now over and I hung up . I called corporate to let them know and also let them know I would be telling everyone who would listen about my experience. And I will. As a silver lining to this story and why I added another star is for the following reason. The regional manager called me and was extremely pleasant and was appalled I had been treated disrespectfully twice . She apologized and let me know she would be handling both situations . She took accountability and didn't chastise me for writing negative reviews. It is obvious this woman got to where she is because customer service is important to her and I am grateful she took the time to call me and make it right . She also said that this was her personal cell phone and if I had any problems to call her personally. She could have just ignored me , I'm just one person but she didn't and for that reason alone , I will be using their website frequently. Because the clothes were never the problem. I've given this store several chances and each time I find myself gravely disappointed. Today's experience consisted of a very rude sales associate who insisted on taking my clothes and another customer's to the dressing room and combined them. When I went to the dressing room to try them on, she coldly told me to sort through and find my clothes since she mixed them together. At the check out, sales items were ringing up as regular price and things that were marked with a red pen were apparently NOT on sale ??? Overall, it was a disappointing experience, yet again. Oh my goodness. I had been hearing wonderful things about this place for months before a friend finally pulled me in here. Seriously, it seemed like every time I complemented somebody on their jewelry earlier this year they would tell me they got it from Versona. With this in mind, I was excited to check it out. First of all, the selection is incredible. It's pretty much a massive boutique of jewelry. Everything seems to be roughly organized on tables by color. Many of the pieces either come in sets or have supplement pieces that match with them. I didn't see any broken pieces just laying out and I've never heard any of my friends whine about the jewelry being cheaply made. Prices are pretty decent. Few, if any, jewelry pieces are over $20.00. The sale section is massive and about half the original price. I've had great luck finding what I'm looking for in the sale section. As far as jewelry goes, you're definitely going to find something that you like when you come in here. It's pretty much impossible not to. In addition to jewelry, Versona carries other accessories such as clutches, scarves, hair bows, and shoes. They also sell clothes. I found a rather crappy laptop case for 5 bucks. It fell apart within a week but I wasn't that upset because I had gotten it on clearance. I bought a clearance scarf here last week for $7.00 and it seems to be made pretty well. My friend is a ballroom dancer and she finds almost all of her accessories here. She cannot rave enough about how awesome and affordable the hair accessories are. I've found the shoes at Versona, though cheap, to be really uncomfortable an cheaply made. The clothes at Versona are stylish, but definitely overpriced. I saw maxi dresses and shirts that I could easily find at a regular department store for half the price. Overall, Versona's selection cannot be beat. I really like that this place exists. I may not always have a need to shop there, but knowing there is a ginormous accessories store out there for whenever a specific occasion should arise, well that just makes me happy. So far I have bought 2 pairs of flats here. Such a great price and very cute. And I found 2 of the exact same shirts but in different colors and they were also so reasonably priced and perfect for this time of year. Ordered two dresses online. Items arrived and were different fit and color than pictured. Returned both dresses using pre-paid label provided. Over 30 days since purchase still no refund given, although they sent me email acknowledging receiving my return. In the email they stated they deducted over $14 in return fees! This is absolutely ridiculous! I understood they would deduct $6.95 shipping from total, but they deducted double that amount with no explanation given and this was not mentioned anywhere online or on receipt. This is poor business practice on their part, and deception. I will be disputing this charge. read more

I have been trying to find a nice accessory store since relocating back to Charlotte, and I stumbled upon this one by doing a search on google. This quickly became one of my top two favorite accessory stores after visiting just one time! Walking inside was so exciting. Everything was neat and organized, I was greeted immediately after entering the store and employees were helpful throughout my visit and at checkout. The prices are great, quality of the accessories is great and they also have clothing in the store. I haven't been able to look at the clothing just yet but plan to do so the next time I am in the area. The only downfall to this store is that is about 45mins from my house. However, whenever I am in south Charlotte, visiting this store is a priority. I love this store! read more

I went to check out Versona because my friend bought me some cute earrings here. I walked in and the first think I saw was an ugly mustard colored pantsuit. Not my style or color but I continued to walk around the store. I thought the clothes look pretty cheap quality but I liked the colors. The accessories better than the clothes. The jewelry is costume but doesn't look Walmart cheap. I don't know if I would actually buy anything here because it isn't really my style. I think other people would like it. read more

I WAS a customer until three weeks ago. Will never purchase from Versona on-line again. I returned two tops totaling $71.93 via UPS overnight shipping which I paid for because it was cheaper than Versona's shipping rates. I wanted to just exchange sizes but their on-line shipping policy is RIP OFF! Versona charges you when you purchase, charges you again to return THEN CHARGES SHIPPING AGAIN TO EXCHANGE!!!! No on-line store I know does that. This is just a ridiculous greedy exchange policy on their part! So I decided to just return the items all together. I am not being foolish to pay shipping three times. Their clothing material is not worth all the shipping charges. Per UPS verification signature, my return was received by Versona on 2/21/20 and to date they have not returned my money. I have called once a week since 2/28/20, provided the tracking number along with proof of delivery signature. Still no money. I called customer service again today and received the standard answer they have been repeating "it takes up to 30 days for a refund." Really? It took you minutes to take my money but I have to WAIT A MONTH from return date to get it back?! My credit card company has now taken over to rectify. Stay clear of on-line shopping from this place! There are much nicer stores with better quality merchandise and shipping practices! read more

Awesome place to find accessories at a reasonable price! This is my new "go to" place when buying gifts for friends. I love how all the accessories are displayed by color/style--one table with all pink, another with blue, or one with all pearls, and another with all gold. They also have some nice clothes, more "juniors" but still pretty. The staff is usually helpful and always interested in your purchases and how you might be using them. One friend says she is mad at me for introducing her to this store, because she now goes there too often and always buys too much because she loves it so much. read more

OCD friends, rejoice! How did it take me so long to hear about this place? I love love love that all the accessories are arranged by color because inevitably, I'm on the hunt for jewelry to go with a certain outfit, and I hate having to dig through random options. The employees who work on the floor are fairly young and a little apathetic, but since it's all arranged by color, you don't really need a lot of help. Although it has clothes, I mainly think of Versona as a jewelry/accessories store, and I don't think I've bought a necklace that cost more than $14. As others have said, just about every time I ask someone where they got their necklace, earrings, etc., they say Versona. The colors are definitely season-specific, so it's tricky to find emerald green in spring and yellow in winter, but the selection is pretty massive. It's almost unfortunate that Versona is near my house because between the set up, the selection, the price and the awesome soundtrack, it's difficult to leave. read more

My son lives in Indiana , he and his wife gave me a gift card for Christmas because I liked the store while in Indiana.. I live in TN and there are only 2 locations, neither of which are close. Sells cheap clothes that do not stand up to laundering following manufacturer's instructions. Knowing this the store has an exclusion policy for returns, they don't accept returns for clothing that has been washed. When I tried to exchange pants that shrunk in the wash, they refused. I will never shop there again & will warn my friends as well. If you do shop there, I suggest you stick to the accessories. read more

I have been a faithful shopper at Versona's since shortly after they opened here in the South Charlotte area. A friend who is not into jewelry like I am spotted the store and highly recommended it to me.. I find that with many girlfriends, sisters and nieces this is a wonderful place to shop. The first time I visited I was so impressed by their vast selection of jewelry and their clothing is awesome. When I need a new outfit and the necklace and earrings to accompany it, I just run over to Versona.. The staff is very helpful and the layout of the store with color coordinating the clothes, scarves, and of course all their beautiful jewelry allows me to browse without feeling overwhelmed or pressed for time.. This is really a blessing if you have just a little bit of time to look for a trinket or bauble. I have done most of my Christmas shopping here this yr and I did it in just about an hour ..
