My husband has a mobility disorder and getting a traditional kurta over his head is incredibly difficult. Smita noticed this and suggested custom making his kurta with buttons all the way down. We were able to select the fabric, the length, and accommodate his mobility. The 3 kurta sets that arrived were spectacular and better quality that what I was finding online for the same price. The beauty counters were attractively set up and there was plenty of help on the sales floor. I went over to the Lancome counter since I was getting low on some of the products that I usually buy from that company. I asked her how to know whether or not I was getting the right size she not only told me what to look for and how they should fit, she suggested that I go try on a pair of hiking boots just to see how they feel with boots on when I move around. I went up to the shoe section and told them I was just there to try on boots to try on with my gators. Even knowing that I had no intention of buying hiking boots, this young man brought me out three pairs of hiking boots to try on. And yes, I realize this all may be a ploy to try to get me to buy hiking boots.... But the attention to detail is spot on! I came over to try on gators. He brought me only waterproof high cut boots. He also stuck around and helped me figure out which size gaitors to get. Well, I am now a happy customer with a good set of gaitors and yes, I also bought the hiking boots. They were on sale!

The sympathetic clerk explained that the sneakers were exempt from the discount. No reason was given. I ended up "Saving" $5.00...from a modest unlisted sale price. I told them I was literally here 10 minutes ago and spoke to you. They told me to call customer service because there was nothing they could do and they apologized for not sending the email. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. It's hard to explain the frustration of turning around to exchange an item and receiving no help from staff and management when the mistake was their own fault. They said they were sorry for not sending the receipt, but there was nothing to be done. What kind of business runs things this way? They made no attempt to rectify the situation. Upon returning the items, intended for Christmas giving, I was immediately advised I was unable to receive a credit card credit due to my end-of-October purchase. It was necessary to receive a merchandise credit. I mentioned they were Christmas gifts, and the arrogant manager, a young woman with a nose ring, blatantly told me it was "too bad". I mentioned Amazon's policy for Christmas returns being from Oct. 7th and Macy's by the end of January, and the list goes on. The manager continued to argue with me.
