We decided to grab some breakfast and drinks from Coffee Fool. I'll start this off by neither of us drink coffee. My husband got a peach mango smoothie and I got a strawberry peach smoothie. Both were very good! I'd love a smoothie straw or a bugger straw as it was hard to drink due to the ice chunks getting stuck. Can't wait to try other non coffee concoctions! My husband got the croissant breakfast sandwich and I did the bagel sandwich. Fresh eggs, cheese and sausage. Very good. The bagel was hard on the bottom so made it a but difficult to eat. I'd maybe ask for it to be cooked at half the time. The croissant bun situation is where it's at though! I'll be getting that from now on. The two gentleman who were working this morning were very knowledgeable and greeted us with welcoming smiles! It's hard to find good customer service these days and these gentlemen were it!

My go-to order is anything with the vanilla cream cheese cold foam--it's seriously so good and one of the best cold foams I've had. They also always seem to have fun, creative seasonal drinks, so there's usually something new to try. Their social media is really creative, and it's easy to see why this place has developed such a following. It can get pretty busy because of the hype, but the drinks are absolutely worth the stop. They also have a small deli that has more lunch choices and a coffee shop with gourmet options or just a simple cup of self-serve coffee with about a dozen flavor options. It is a wonderful place to sit around and visit while enjoying your sweet treats. They even have a Kolacky Days in Montgomery. My kind of days! Montgomery is a beautiful little town located about an hour south of the cities. We arrived just after 8am on a Saturday morning and they were busy. We went in and stood in line while we surveyed the goods. At first we didn't see any kolackys and thought maybe they were sold out. When the kind folks showed us where they were located, we were happy to see them but at the same time somewhat surprised as they were not what we were expecting. They looked like a dinner roll with some fruit filling. Well, maybe these are traditional. We ordered a couple of apply kolackys, a raspberry croissant, a cinnamon crunchy roll and a peanut ball. Sadly the kolacky was not what we expected. It tasted similar to a dinner roll with apple filling. Not bad, just not what we have previously enjoyed. The other items were good. I mean c'mon, I don't know that we've ever had a bad doughnut. Just ask Homer Simpson. Our favorite was the cinnamon cream cheese roll. We didn't get any cream cheese flavor otherwise this roll was crunchy with the pleasant taste of cinnamon. This was just our first stop on our road trip. We really enjoy small towns and bakeries so I'm sure we'll visit next time we are in the area as we can always eat a doughnut or three.
