The service is fantastic and the staff are super-helpful, always willing to take the time to explain what options are available. Great family atmosphere. My boyfriend and I had afternoon tea here a couple weeks ago, and I can't recommend it enough…read more Firstly, the owner was so accommodating; they usually require a week's notice for an afternoon tea reservation, but they were kind enough to set it up with a day's notice (my boyfriend's school schedule meant we had less time to plan). We started with strawberry iced tea with hibiscus ice cubes, which was so refreshing. We ordered a pot of the jade oolong, and it was delicious, although the whole menu is huge and the variety is fantastic. The food was AMAZING; it's all vegan, but even us meat-eaters were satisfied! We started with warm cherry fig scones (shaped like teapots!), then had loaded potato salad, butterbean soup, and various tea sandwiches (the vegan "pastrami" from The Herbivorous Butcher was so good!). The dessert tray was the high point, though: dark chocolate orange chia pudding with coconut whipped cream, their famous almond tea cookies, and these tropical fruit pastries that I can't remember the name of. My boyfriend is not normally a fan of sweets and he still ate most of his half, which is saying something! The shop itself is adorable; the decor is eclectic and cozy, and there's a little shop in the back where you can buy bags of their tea as well as other cute products. I definitely want to go back again to try their other teas and just sit and read. Seriously, this is one of my favorite places in the area!

We popped in on a hot day to get some ice cream. This was exactly the type of place I was looking…read morefor. We entered through the backdoor, however, and I didn't realize they had another whole case at the front so I missed a bunch of the flavors. I had the Mint Explosion (?) which was tasty and creamy - no ice particles here! No one really greeted us or asked if we had any questions, which was a little frustrating. My husband seemed in a rush so I just ordered but would have preferred to have known if I could do more than 1 flavor in a cup or if they had cones? (Everyone was getting cups which makes me think no?) The menu wasn't super clear, though I suppose for regulars its fine. We sat inside, but the outdoor patio/garden was nice and they had plenty of seating in the SHADE!

I am the last person to tell someone to smile. SO annoying! But, the 3 people working looked so unhappy to be there. No friendliness whatsoever. Now, I am obviously not aware of placement of individuals on the neurodivergency scale, but if one is in customer service and especially serving ice cream, some level of joyfulness might be expected. Perhaps even, dare I say, a smile when a customer makes a funny mistake. I know I said they were busy, but they didn't seem frantic or overrun in any way. It just felt a bit uncomfortable, like when you walk in on an argument and they stop because you came in. BUT, back to the ice cream. It was good. Would have loved a peanut butter chocolate flavor (not available that day), but was okay with cookie dough and Macha as a surpringly good combo. We also had the cafe latte da, which was amazing! Will likely go back again with hopes of a more comfortable, maybe even joyful, experience. I'll be sure to time it when PB Loves Chocolate is being served!

This place is great!…read more We stopped by on a Tuesday morning, and I was surprised by how large the inside was. It's not gigantic, but I was expecting it to be much smaller based on what I had heard about the place. I ordered the Waffle Latte and absolutely loved it. I would definitely get it again. My wife ordered an iced mocha with an extra shot, and she really enjoyed hers as well. We also decided to try a white chocolate raspberry scone. My wife loved it. I thought it was good, but not quite great. We also ordered a garlic bagel with cream cheese. I really liked that and would potentially order it again, although next time I may try a plain bagel just for comparison. The staff was super nice. They genuinely seemed happy to be there, which is honestly a bit surprising these days when it comes to customer service. The positive attitude definitely added to the experience. Overall, I really don't have much negative to say. Sure, it's a little pricey, but I feel like I say that in almost every review nowadays. Food and drinks outside the house are just stupid expensive these days, so compared to other coffee shops, the pricing here felt relatively fair. Yeah, I don't know. I really don't have many complaints. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. I'm giving them 5 out of 5 stars, and I'll definitely be back.

They have a cozy atmosphere and is a nice spot to enjoy a morning drink. I ordered a blue nose mocha and a believin' berry buzz dirty soda along with a blueberry scone. The scone was subtly sweet and pretty dense. It was a great choice of bakery item. The mocha was super sweet. It almost tasted more like a latte than a mocha. The sugary flavors drown out the espresso bitterness. I'd order something else next time since the sugar rush was a lot. Since Farmington has been known to consume the most Mountain Dew per capita in the US I ordered a Mountain Dew based dirty soda. With all the added flavors of this drink I kind of forgot it was Mountain Dew. Like everything else this was a super sugary drink but was nice to try due to the novelty of the drink.
