On the second job a mistake was made in the installation. A replacement was ordered and the installer came to install it 7 weeks later (2 weeks of that delay was my doing). This replacement part was ordered incorrectly so it could not be installed. It is now 5 weeks from that day and I still do not have an ETA for when the 2nd replacement will be installed. Do not expect them to put a high priority on getting a job completed even when the mistake is theirs.

Upon contacting customer service, I informed them that it may have been my error, but they insisted on ordering in a new door front as part of their 1 year, 100% warranty. So we now have very expensive countertops we don't really care for. When we spoke to them about it, we received no explanation or compensation. They came three times to measure and still messed up the measurements. When they were installing the countertops, they kept pushing it even tho the lower cabinets were shifting, my daughter had to tell them to stop before they caused anymore damage. My cabinet was not able to be properly fixed afterwards. No apology or compensation. We are so disappointed as this was an opportunity we will probably never have again. Would not recommend.

I initially met with Jason…read moreFlorkowsky who came out to the condo to take measurements, and continued to work directly with him throughout the process. My must haves were semi gloss lacquer upper cabinets and continuous horizontal grain walnut base cabinets to go over my freshly laid polished porcelain Calacatta marble floor tiles. Florkowsky's was hired approximately Feb 30/15. They removed the old kitchen cabinets and built and installed brand new cabinets and I had a fully functional kitchen with exactly what I had asked for by May 6/15. Overall the timeframe to completion was a bit long however I can't fault Florkowsky's entirely for that. What is more important to me is the overall outcome of my kitchen and I must say I am in LUV! Here are a couple of examples of what this company will do to ensure the client is happy: 1) I could not decide on the finish/ how much gloss I wanted on the upper cabinetry. I finally decided on 25 %, the upper cabinets were all installed and when I saw them I didn't like the finish, it was too matte. The installers removed all the doors, took them back to the shop, resprayed them with 40% and reinstalled them. 2) ordered multiple sheets of walnut veneer until I found the "ones" 3) I picked out all the cabinet hardware, it was ordered and delivered and then I changed my mind. I found some other cabinet hardware online that I preferred and Jason got it for me! Would I recommend this company? Yes, in a heartbeat! Combine all of the above with quality materials and craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail, it's a win win and what you will get if you hire Florkowsky's. This is a company that truly cares about the customer. I thought I was picky but Florkowsky's installers exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. I love my kitchen so much, if I could... After a referral from a friend, I contacted AB Countertops to purchase a bathroom vanity countertop and a small piece for the top of a shower curb. (and mount a sink I provided under the counter). I was asked for the measurements (which I thought strange as there can be all kinds of things custom to each install - i.,e. wall corners not 90 degrees, etc.) While the timelines discussed seemed a bit slow, I realize that ours was just one countertop as opposed to a whole house job. After a call from the salesperson that the countertop was ready, I went to the shop facility to pick up. (no info as to who to see on site) after finally finding someone, they said it will be a few minutes. Then, I could see a worker gluing the sink to the counter (so it was hardly ready to pick up). When this was done, I took the unit home. The sink was poorly attached to the counter - I had to silicone some gaps and was worried that it may fall off when installed on the vanity. Visually, it is acceptable. The shower curb top: I made the measurements my self, and messed up and measured 2" to narrow. Fine, my fault. I tried to contact the salesperson I dealt with 12+ times via email, text and received only one response - that they were busy due to illness; nothing after that. If you don't want to or can't do the work, just tell me, but to not even reply is rude! I finally got a small piece from another granite company, and would recommend them. Stay away from AB Countertops is my advice.

This is an Edmonton based small business. I contacted Sergej to install a custom kitchen island to…read morematch my existing kitchen. I wanted a very specific size, finish, handles, and counter top that required a custom build. Sergej came by and took measurements, made recommendations about the best sizes of drawers that would fit the size of island I wanted, and took the details of my current kitchen. He was able to create and install a custom island with exactly the size and features I wanted, and found a finish that matched my existing kitchen but cost less. He was also able to include a small shelf unit on the end for cookbooks. We had a little confusion over my request for a wooden butcherblock countertop, which should not be varnished -- apparently an unusual request, but Sergej was very helpful in following up and sorting out the miscommunication, and I now have an actual butcherblock countertop that I can use to roll out pastry and pasta, on a great looking kitchen island with drawers, shelves, and a built-in garbage/recycle drawer. The cost for this ended up less than some other places I got quotes from and the quality is excellent. I would definitely recommend TSN Cabinets.
