Lang Insurance was one of the places I got quotes from when trying to select Homeowner's Insurance with a joint multi-car auto plan. My broker, Beth, was really great at helping my boyfriend and I decide on a plan that was right for us. I am new to the world of insurance purchasing and it was kind of hectic/stressful because I had so many quotes to work with, but thankfully she was able to sit down with us and explain everything. She was able to get us a Cincinnati plan that included earthquake insurance which was nice. She also worked with my boyfriend to get him a cheaper quote than what he was currently paying for auto insurance with another company. She was able to save my boyfriend $400/year on auto! But keep in mind this is with my homeowners bundled with my auto. But still....SAVINGS. Holy cow. I was with a different insurance provider for years but my rate kept going up over and over for no reason. I sent my information over to Lang Insurance just to review my policy and see if they could be any more competitive. Not only were they able to get me a substantially better rate but they also increased my coverage. Insurance is a necessary item that you hope to never have to use. Unfortunately, only 2 weeks into my new policy, my son hit a deer and totaled his truck. When I called Lang Insurance about it, I was expecting a little aggravation and disappointment from them. Excellent Auto, Home & Umbrella policy limits & cost. Loved the "Personal Auto Plus " coverage since is includes air bag replacement, towing, temporary vehicle rental, in a total loss my deductible are only $100 for collision, waives the glass deductible. Best of all is the Trip Interruption. If I'm over 100 miles from home it pays up to $600 for lodging, meals and transportation if I can't use my vehicle for 24 hours due to accident, mechanical or electrical breakdown with NO deductible. Didn't find that anywhere else. read more

I had a problem with getting service from a particular agent/rep. Several issues over the course of a year. I never made a claim, but was concerned that should I have to, it would be miss handled. I cancelled the auto policies and there was even a problem with that. Jim, the office mgr, seems competent and wanted to preserve the business. It was too late. At no point was Steve Lang available for me to talk to. I don't understand why folks spend so much money promoting themselves to get new business when they should be working harder on keeping the business they do have. read more
