Fun place and pretty decent food. Langford Lanes has everything anyone could be looking for in a bowling alley. Kid friendly. I love the devices they have to help little ones launch their bowling balls. Genius idea. Flashing, neon lights along with projected colorful light displays. I felt like I was back in the 70s in one of my disco haunts. Those were the days... I love the bumpers feature that is available. I really needed them. I was there on a Friday night and it got pretty loud, making conversation a practical impossibility but Im sure it is much calmer during the day. Not 100 percent on that but one would guess so. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was surprisingly good. My club sandwich was terrific and the quesadillas, nachos and tomatoe bisque were equally as good. Can't say the same for the fries though. They also serve alcoholic beverages. Can get pricey, especially if you're a family, and you have no choice but to rent those nasty bowling shoes. I can't help wonder how necessary that is but you know, there's the floors... All in all, makes for a fun night if you can afford it. I enjoyed it. read more

This spot is a hit! I was lucky enough to squeeze myself in for a reservation to watch the ufc fight. The minute I stepped into the bar, I got a good vibe from this place. We had made reservations for 2 prior to the fight and arrived early (thank god). However, it looks like the waitress heard me wrong on the phone and made a mistake for the reservations. We were told we would have to sit in the corner cause that was the only seat available. My husband and I really wanted the table infront of the big screen to watch the fight. The manager was super friendly and accommodated us to the seat we liked since we had arrived and the reservations were made incorrect. The food itself was really good. We ordered the calamari to start and tater tots. The tater tots were on the salty side so I had to dip it in lots of ketchup. The main dish I ordered was a double pepperoni pizza. This was so good and had lots of cheese!! Yummm The best part was the dessert of-course since I always have a sweet tooth. For 3 desserts it's just $12. Yes, not a typo. I recommend the deep fried Nanaimo bar, cheesecake, and the DONUTS. read more

I visited this place with three of my friends on Saturday evening and it was very busy.We were put on a long wait ..but we were asked if we can try the bar in the mean time . We entered the bar and we was so happy to see a snooker pool and dart games we ordered some beer . That's it in the mean time we were buzzed and given a lane for bowling .Had so much fun . Nice newly opened bowling alley just outside of Victoria. We came here and the lanes were packed. They could only accommodate us in their VIP area. The VIP area has it's own bar and waitress service. It had about 6-8 lanes so it is much more intimate and separated from the rest of the alley by glass. Service was attentive, the food was good enough and they had some great local brews on tap. Our only gripe was that either the bowling shoes were not slick enough, or the lane was not. You never realize how much you slide when you throw the ball unless you actually cannot slide. Several times we almost fell over because the shoes were catching on the floor. Hopefully they have worked this issue out. read more

When it rains, as it frequently does in Victoria, one is desperate for indoor activities. The bowling lanes here are a great indoor activity, and clearly, parents of very young kids have a similar mindset. This place has a VIP side and the regular side, and all over are young kids enjoying bowling. I love that they have a ball launcher for young kids, which allowed the 4-year old to get quite excited and engaged on her first adventure at the bowling alley. The most terrible place ever. Reservation process is a nightmare. I had to change the reservation (my fault) and called the special phone: closed. Phoned the lanes to make sure they're not holding the lane, but they told me to call the reservation line. I told them they're closed - "no they're not" So re-reserve the next week. Done. Show up early to see if we could get in early. No? That's fine, if they kept my reservation. They have no record of my reservation. They tell me it's going to be 20 minutes for the next lane. 40 minutes pass while we wait by the front desk, looking at 3 empty lanes. So we ask what's the hold up. They are reserved. But you said they would be ready. Oops. So why didn't you tell me that so I didn't wait 40 minutes? I have never been so thoroughly angered by service. Ridiculous. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on their 'VIP' bowling area. We went Saturday night for a family birthday party with nine people. The reservation was made well in advance for their VIP area as they claimed you got better service etc etc. For two hours it was $277. We all arrive right on time only to find out they had screwed up somehow and had another group bowling in the two lanes we had reserved. So we wait up front for a while and then they eventually tell us we can go back into the room to lanes one and two. We get back there only to find the other group had only just been told to leave. So we awkwardly stood there as they awkwardly pick up their belongings and nacho platters to leave. No staff member accompanied us over there during this time and no staff member assisted the other group to move. We were left with a filthy area, food all over the floor and the tables all filled with their empty cups, plates and chicken wing bones. No staff members came by to help facilitate us getting set up. We had to go back to the front to request they clear the tables. We had paid in advance to have food plates pre-ordered and ready on arrival. None of this was done. Eventually they deliver some food, but to another groups table. Turns out that was our food we had to move it ourselves. There was one poor waitress working the bar in the 'VIP' area and it was impossible to get a drink. She was so busy with no help. There were other staff in the main area.. doing shit all. The bowling lane itself malfunctioned 3 times and required us again to go up to the front to get it fixed. At the very end as we're putting our shoes on to leave some manager comes up to ask how it was. I think they gave us a free game each... not a discount off the night, but a free regular game to get us back to spend more money? No thank you. Worst service I've seen in years.
