I went in there for two vapes. First they wouldn't let me read the packages so I bought them second I bought them receive no receipt when I got home I will check my credit card and they were $65. Mind you I spent $20 each for them and other stores so when I called to ask about this they told me they were $24 when I get there they tell me no there $29. Then they said that they would re-ring it up and all of a sudden one is $39 and one is $25. And the girl tells me that in America, there's a thing called sales tax. Wth? Lang's has a super amazing delivery service, and a convenient website for ordering liquor right to your doorstep - one of the only places in this area that will do it. I am amazed by how prompt and quick the delivery was from LBI to West Creek! The young gentleman who came to deliver it was professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely eager to ensure we were satisfied with our order and that it was right. He even called and texted me to let me know he was on the way. I am so pleased with this experience and feel that it is even more convenient and personalized than using the Drizly type apps (which do not deliver to our location since we moved here). I am not a full time resident of LBI but I'm down every weekend and have owned in surf city since 2013. I used to go here at least 6-7 times a month for my Powerball and Mega, occasional few bottles of wine , and always to get my wife's Juul 4 pack vapes. I spend over 400$ a month there, easily but I won't anymore. The 50's ish woman that works the register is absolutely Nasty and condescending. There is a younger guy and a 50's ish gentleman who are a pleasure but not this woman. She's always been rude and nasty before but I have thick skin and usually don't see her anyway. Monday I went in just for lottery and the place was empty, no one waiting, so I asked for a $20 quik pic mega and Powerball. The woman was counting $ in the register responded " go over there and wait" pointing at the lottery machine 4 feet away which was odd, I always get my tickets at the register. Whatever, well in walks a young girl who spent a minute picking up a box of wine and bottle and eventually comes up to the register and asks if I'm online, I say yes, waiting for lotto, and the woman proceeds to ring her up ahead of me, the young girl looks at me, shrugs her shoulders, I said "no problem"... well in walks another dude who gets a case of beer out of a frig or something, few bottles, and walks up and she proceeds to ring him up too! Totally ignoring me again, he gets his stuff and walks out and up walks another guy who must've been on the other side of the store browsing bottles of wine and he walks up and she starts ringing him up! Before she was Done the guy says " oooops I forgot something and now he's in the back browsing again and I'm just standing there like a shlep. Ignored. I said F this and as I'm walking out the woman sucks her teeth or says something under her breath.. WTF? From what I've seen on a Facebook Long beach island page there are quite a number of people with the same experience with her that will never come back either. Not a clever way to run a business and from what I read online she has angered quite a few people out of the store who will never come back read more

I went in to purchase nicotine and being that I'm almost turning 25 I thought it was funny they were asking my address. The Lady behind the desk immediately got very irate and started raising her voice with me. I ended up just walking out at the point to avoid further confrontation. Extremely rude staff will not be returning. I'm almost 25 years old and I came in buying a product they were looking at my ID for nearly 5 minutes so I started laughing a bit, not questioning why they were checking just found it funny how detailed they were.
