Two of my children went all the way through and finished the Middle School Program and they left Five Oaks more than prepared for high school! FOA students are smart, well rounded, compassionate, confident and independent. FOA is truly a gem in the Upstate. The staff are some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet, and they work hard to make Five Oaks amazing. Sure, there were a few hiccups along the way, because schools and people aren't perfect. But, overall, I don't think we I could have found a better school for our kids.

From the very beginning, the staff took time to get to know my child before their first day, asking about likes, dislikes, and personality during the meet-the-teacher event. The teachers and administration were consistently warm, communicative, and present. Daily updates through the app were thorough, and on the rare occasion of an incident, I received prompt communication and personal follow-up, which made me feel supported and respected as a parent. Classroom transitions were handled with so much care and intention, making the process smooth and stress-free for my child. When our family had to move unexpectedly due to an emergency, the compassion and support we received from the teachers and leadership meant everything. I am so happy I found them to help me prepare for my SAT studies. The environment is so welcoming and the space is open and SO friendly. They have a sweet little dog in the office and is run by family that's been doing this for over 20 years. Don't go anywhere else where you'll burn through money. If you're doing test prep or need to improve your grades, the people here will get you to your goals and are very reasonably priced. Go in and take a diagnostic test and work with them up to your goals!! 100% recommend them to any student, whether in elementary school or college, they know how to work with students.

Every year the school is making…read morechanges to improve the education experience for their students, plus making drop off and pick up of students easier (even though some parents think they are privileged and rules don't apply to them) but those of us who do find the changes much safer for our children, for example, the dismissal process is the best ( the school is drop off and pick up only no busses) you don't wait forever in the carline. Enough about that. The entire staff from the office down to the custodian is the most friendly staff you could have at a school. So if you're looking for a new school or just starting out keep the jaguars in mind you won't be disappointed my girls have learned so much here plus they are always doing some kind of fun activities.
