I asked to talk to a manager and my request was denied. Disgusting that my family member had to be homeless for the night. The priceline website did not say locals not allowed.

In the office there is a note that states there may be some marks on the walls due to contractors and the work they were doing. Which is odd because shouldn't that be fixed already? They said it was done with the remodel, why are there still stuff on walls? Checking in was pretty easy, they did not require a credit card, I paid online thru a 3rd party website. I needed to use the dryer because my kids were playing in the snow and of course we only brought one pair of shoes for them. The dryer was $2 in quarters to use and it worked for 5-10 mins at max. Pretty short and not even near enough time to dry anything. The room was just a standard motel room, nothing fancy. It had the tv, mini fridge, single cup coffee maker, the usual things. The beds were so small, though. We booked a room with two queen beds, come to find out this motel doesn't even have queen beds. So we had to cram into full size beds. None of us slept well that night at all. That was also partially due to the noise level. You can hear every single car drive by the main highway.

She checked available rooms for same day. Unfortunately, it was a smoking room. I politely declined. She recommended a nearby hotel. Excellent customer service. Monique went above and beyond in helping me find a room for the night. It was a rainy, cold night I might add. Would highly recommend staying here. Hotel is clean and modern. Nice breakfast area and convenient snacks located near lobby. Another perk, not far from Tanger Outlet Mall. Plus, amazing customer service from Monique!

I must give a shout-out to the entire staff for their friendliness and efficiency. We moved from…read morethe SpringHill suites right next door because one of the staff members was really rude and breakfast was always late. The staff over here was very welcoming and really made us feel at home. When we first got into the room, they called to make sure everything was okay. When we went three days without a room clean (late sleepers), they left us fresh towels on our door. When our card stopped working twice, they offered to bring it up to us. When the people on the third floor were obnoxiously loud, they moved us to the fourth four with no hesitation. If this was a review for the staff (including the housekeepers), they'd get 5 stars. The room that we stayed in had two queen beds that were a little squeaky. Definitely not as comfortable or luxurious as the SpringHill suites but the pillows were very comfortable. There was a flat-screen TV with plenty of channels including Starz and HBO, a comfortable reading chair, and a full kitchen stocked with a pot, a skillet, microwave, dishwasher (and soap), a trash can, coffee pot, paper towels, utensils and an apartment sized refrigerator. Everything worked well and we had no overall problems with any appliances. Our problems began when we went to heat up some food in the microwave. It had not been cleaned all the way and there was food splatter on the back which was pretty gross. The two forks that we puled out to eat with still had food on them from the previous guests. The shower and outside of the dishwasher both need a really good scrub down as there was grime on both that made me feel a little yucky. The water pressure in the shower wasn't that great and we had to wait about 3-5 minutes for hot water at about 5 AM in the morning. The curtains did NOT keep the sunlight out and it really stunk because we were on vacation and we had to use our pillows to help. If you're wanting a nice quiet place to sleep, ask for a room on the fourth floor AWAY from the elevators. You'll thank me later. The breakfast was decent. Typical hotel breakfast with powdery eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, some weird kind of egg and cheese combo on a biscuit, fresh fruit and two different kinds of juices. It was very cool of them to offer to-go breakfasts (cereal, milk, granola bar and an apple) for the people who are up and gone before breakfast. The absolute WORST part of this hotel was the WI-FI. It was horrendous. On both the second and and fourth floors, we struggled to keep even two bars. It is definitely not enough to stream a movie on Netflix or Hulu and was barely enough to let me post this review. It continuously disconnected because of the signal strength. I was really disappointed. I even went and tried to sit outside on the patio and....nothing. I also learned quickly that the Ethernet cable did not work. Overall, this was a decent hotel with free breakfast, comfortable beds (for the most part), good AC, awesome amenities, but with really poor WI-FI. I don't know if I'd stay here long term again as I really need my Netflix and Hulu, but the service was spot-on.

Rather than taking corrective action, management dismissed concerns by attributing them to language barriers with the renovation crew. When asking about the gym was told I could try a fitness center close by. Or Hampton inn next door. When I addressed it again on day four a staff member expressed I could go to the comfort inn to use the gym. Computers to print were unplugged. Paint was being scrapped and the workers had masks on but we were not offered the same. Periodically it smelled like gas. When bringing it up the front desk there seemed to be no action taken. When they ran out of waffle mix we were told we are having renovations. (How does renovations explain no edible food) On the positive side the cleaning staff was very kind. The room was clean and the hotel itself was close to great food. Got a waffle from WAFFLE HOUSE!
