DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!…read more SCREWING OVER A DISABLED VETERAN WHEN YOU KNOW HE'S IN HARD TIMES FIGHTING THE VA FOR DISABILITY CLAIMS! I have known the owners my whole life. I paid $3000 for Robert Fasshauer the owner, to replace my broken down engine. Four months later and my car died again. I took it to a shop here in Colorado and THEY NEVER REPLACED MY ENGINE. MY CAR STILL HAS THE BROKEN DOWN ENGINE IN IT!! I had the mechanic call Robert and he told the guy he did no replace it, but "repaired" my engine. When the mechanic questioned Robert about lying to us, Robert got mad, yelled at the guy, then hung up on him. THAT IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR!! After confronting his wife about this, she tells me it isn't her problem and they refuse to give me back my money. I want to make sure everyone knows these people are not trustworthy. I called Robert my uncle until now. They will screw anyone over. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!

People with no boating experience, BE AWARE…read more This review is not meant to hurt the business -- this is meant to prep newbies for some things we wish the business had prepped us for. This review is intended for people who are new to boating, and who do not have a license other than the one HP Powersports will provide you for the day. There are some things that are likely to happen which will result in your $269 (+tax and fuel) rental turning into a $700(+) rental. HP Powersports will not give a lot of detail for best ways to protect his boats - he is used to renting to experienced boaters. He talks very quickly, does not repeat much nor emphasize much, and focuses on how *not to get lost* ... **NOT how to protect his boats.*** It is VERY easy to damage the propellor blades on the outboard motor - ***you will not know you are close to the rocks and weeds.*** So when he gives you directions to just stay in the middle of the water-way, so as not to get lost - what he is also saying is, **DO NOT get close to shore AT ALL because there is a HIGH likelihood you will damage the prop blades and get weeds caught-up in the blades.** At the time we rented a pontoon boat (Sept 2021), he had two boats available to rent and rented them in half-day intervals. That means there are max 28 rental opportunities per week. When we returned the pontoon, only to find the price inflated to $700 because we had apparently driven over rocks and weeds, he showed FOUR such damaged prop blades on the wall and said that we were the FIFTH to happen in ONE week. So, assuming he did not rent all 28 times in one week, it would seem there is almost a 20% (1 in 5) likelihood you will be paying $700+ for your 4-hour boat rental. Perhaps your best bet is don't rent from HP Powersports if you have no experience and no license. Either that or stay in the DEEPEST water you can, and be prepared to pay **A LOT** for your 4-hour excursion. With the small amount of instruction HP Powersports gave us, we wouldn't have done anything differently. We truly had NO idea we had driven over rocks or weeds. Unfortunately, it has left a pretty bad taint to what we thought was 4 hours of fun to see the Thousand Islands from the water ... only to find out the rental went from $269 to $700.

Neil, a renowned employee at AutoShack who keeps you laughing and on your toes in any conversation!…read more I've talked with four employees over the phone, and all have been very concerned about my situation and we found the best solution to my predicament. The AutoShack website had a little bug; I tried purchasing an item twice, and both times it said my card(s) wasn't/weren't accepted, I later got an email stating I was receiving both orders! I only wanted one! I called them right away, and they kept up with me over the week while we tracked the package in order to ship it back to them. I got a full refund! No charge for shipping. And MORE!! Overall, I highly recommend purchasing your goods from AutoShack. When making a call, make sure to say "hello" first, they seem a tad shy and will wait for you. Sincerely, Brian M Spragge

Unfortunately, the item doesn't fit so I reported the incident to AutoShack. Here is what they replied. "After verifying the specifications, we found that the part ordered is not compatible with your 2015 Toyota Highlander. The kit you purchased is designed for the same vehicle model but specifically for All-Wheel Drive (AWD) applications, while your VIN confirms that your vehicle is Front-Wheel Drive (FWD)." They rejected to give me the refund upon their untrustworthy app response. Never buy anything from them again, scammer.

BYERS BEWARE!!! WERE WE EVER WRONG…read more We put an offer of $22,000 on a 2013 Visa Golf Stream at 1000 Islands RV listed for $23,995 and it was accepted. We noted possible signs of leakage and rot in the ceiling upon first inspection however, but were assured by our Sales Rep that this would be completely inspected by their Service Dept prior to taking possession and repaired if there was any leakage and/or rot. We returned after the repairs claimed to have been done and noted that the "rot" was not repaired. I questioned our Sales Rep and she claimed that the "Service Dept as well as the Manager" both looked at it and could not find any rot, claiming that the ceiling was "Rock Solid". So, I showed her where I could actually push my finger into the soft plywood in several locations. She then claimed that this was normal. For a second, I thought my partner had painted a bid "L" for Looser on my forehead while I was sleeping? I then showed the Sales Rep the rest of the ceiling which was actually "Rock Solid". She didn't know what to say, other than repeating that "the Service Dept and Manager stated there was no rot." As a result, we decided NOT to accept this unit because our Sales Rep, the Service Department as well as the Manager were all blatantly lying to our faces, hoping that we were stupid enough to believe them and simply accept this rotten trailer as is. The thing is, had they been "honest" with us from the beginning and pointed out the rot, we would have accepted the unit as-is, but what else were they now hiding from us and lying about? They could no longer be trusted. After walking away from the deal, our Sales Rep contacted us again stating that the Manager was now willing to take off another $3000 from our initial offer of $22,000. Now... You have to ask yourself: Why would they do that if, as they claim, there was no Rot in the ceiling? BUSTED!!! Needless to say, we declined their offer. The sad thing is, they have since relisted this unit at $23,995 again knowing full well there is rot in the ceiling, hoping to catch another unsuspecting fly in their web of deception. 1000 RV Staff and Management are as "Dirty as they come". I don't understand some of these dealerships. They don't seem to realize the concept of "Honesty". It's just beyond them. You screw one potential customer to make one sale, but loose 10 others in the process when they find out they've been swindled and tell all their friends. Or... You can be honest with that one customer and make 10 other potential customers in the process. It's just simple math and common sense. It blows me away that they can blatantly lie to your face even after you actually point-out proof of the defects. Unbelievable! Just Unbelievable! We also returned over $500 of extras, not because we didn't need them for our new trailer, but because they were all priced $5. To $20 more than other stores. That is the last time you will see us at 1000 Island RV. Happy Camping!
