While visiting from out of town I dropped in on a game between the Lugnuts and the Peoria Chiefs. It was bring your dog to the game night, and the Lugnuts were playing as the Lansing Locos. It was a rough night for the Locos, shut out 4-0 through eight innings until they scored three in the bottom of the ninth and nearly tied it up until a controversial call at second base ended the game just as the tying run crossed the plate. Overall a great night of baseball and fun for the whole family -- even the dog! (Seriously, the dogs loved meeting so many new dogs.) My only disappointment was the lack of support in the stands -- on the morning of game day I had my choice of almost any seat in the house. The Lugnuts deserve better than that, so if you haven't been to a game, come on out let yourself unwind for an evening. Let's go Nuts! and ¡Vamos Locos! read more

Marvelous minor league baseball team. We went to a game in Lansing last weekend and had a great time. Beautiful baseball park. Fun for young kids with Super Heroes who were fun and kid-friendly. Decent ball park food and very nice people working there. Excellent baseball too, these guys are amazingly good. We always enjoy our nights at the ballpark! The atmosphere is fun, and being downtown is exciting. If I could change anything it would be to let me bring an empty water bottle and fill it after I'm inside. I hardly drink pop, and would prefer not to pay $4 for a small water. Let me drink from my water bottle and I'll ha e money for souvenirs and other food. read more

Great stadium! The seats were comfortable and there were lots of visitors amenities. The food was great and there were lots of options.

Took my son, his pal and some family this past week to see the Lansing Lugnuts play the South Bend Silverhawks. We had tickets in the reserved section right by 1st base ($10). Seats are very comfortable, drink holders (even hold the 24 oz beer cans)...and only a buck more than the bench seats farther up. Recommend. Cooley Stadium is easy to get to. Parking nearby runs about $3. Like most Minor League games, I really enjoy the relaxed family, even old-fashioned atmosphere. Staff, concessions are just friendlier than the games at the Majors. I took my daughter to a game on Father's Day (a real gift) and we had the best time. The park was clean and our seats were right behind the home team dugout and were 1/2 the price of tigers tickets or more. Good food and lots of activities for kids, we will be back for sure. read more

As part of our summer adventure in Michigan we decided to attend a game at Cooley College Stadium. We have AAA baseball in Las Vegas. While the quality of baseball MAY be better at AAA in Las Vegas, the fan experience in Lansing is major league! We have a friend who was able to get ticket for us, but ticket prices were reasonable. Concessions were very reasonably priced. This is key because being a parent, I'm lucky if I get to enjoy 15 minutes of a game in peace without someone asking for something. At least in Lansing getting treats for the kids isn't breaking the bank! Parking was a little tricky. We paid $5 at a lot by the stadium. It looks like there has been some improvement of the area around the stadium. The apartments just beyond the outfield looked really cool. Oh, and I forgot- THEY HAVE A HOT DOG CANNON! One of the coolest features ever! They did t shirts too, but the actually shot FOOD into the stands! The Lugnuts also came back and won 4-3 in 10 innings. What a fun time here in Lansing seeing the Lugnuts. We had seats in the Clubhouse which is a large public suite in the upper deck. Compared to Comerica Park its probably row 15 as the stadium is much smaller. Wonderful seats, and if gets to hot you can go into the airconditioned suite to cool off. In the suite you have a private bar with a large beer list including quite a few micros. We ordered 6 beers(pints) and a mixed drink and it came to about $50. Wow I was expecting Tiger prices and about a $100. By the way a suite tickets is $23 :)))))))). We will definitely be back, the Nuts are fun to watch the crowd is cool and so is the stadium. We LOVE the minor league and Major league ball circuit.. AAA is a great experience our only other A experience which Lasing was we experience in Savannah and loved it. The park was packed in Lansing, usually minor league ball is family oriented which Lansing was. It was distracting to see the game due to people constantly getting up (I have never experienced it like this) There were a lot of kids and in general the people were rude. The concessions were also a little underwhelming (Savannah and Rochester has unique cuisine) Overall it was positive, the stadium is great for being A ball and if they have a packed house its good business. read more

I'll admit it: I love a good baseball game more than any other sport. In this era of high prices for bad seats, the Minor League teams are the saving grace of this sport. For about $20, you get seats close to the diamond, a beer and a hot dog. You see players trying hard to prove themselves to the scouts, and you're close enough to know that if you're taunting the pitcher that he probably can hear you. The staff at this ballpark give you good entertainment during slow periods, and the selection of food and drinks is very impressive for any athletic venue. The other great thing about this ballpark is that it's near downtown, so if you want to get lunch or dinner before/after the game you can. You also have good parking readily available not even a block away. The Lugnuts and the ballpark are a great part of the city, and if you haven't been to a baseball game in a while, this is the place to be and the team to watch. read more

My first visit to the Lansing Lugnuts Stadium June 2, 2018. It was a fun run for small children. We took my son (adult) and two great grand kids age 3 and 4. We drove round and round looking for A Handicapped parking lot or Space with squealing kids wanting to get out. We asked every worker we saw and no one knew where or whether or not there was any Handicapped parking. We were lucky to get a parking spot but had to remove me and my chair out in the traffic as I have a side ramp on my van for me and my wheelchair to get out of the van. We were told for family to wait by the green banner for returning runners. While waiting there I realized I was not in position to see the race my grandson was in. I had only to cross the line of children coming in from the race before. They were stragglers and I could have easily passed safely to the other side. However, a woman worker stopped me and said I couldn't cross because of the children coming thru, I explained that I only wanted to cross to the other side to see my family run, but she interrupted me and said I couldn't safely, her long argument with me caused me to miss the run my grandson was in. When the children were done she said I could proceed. As I started to cross to the other side she said oh! I thought you wanted to go down the ramp! She then argued with me some more because that really upset me. I feel like I was definitely being rude to because I was in a wheel chair. I missed my 3 yr old grandson get his first ever medal, the Lugnuts need to hire more friendly, understanding and stadium knowledgeable employees and volunteers. I will never visit there again!!! The game was great and we loved the smaller ballpark. But the concession stands have mastered the art of Inefficient service; we stood in line for an hour for food. We tried the Dippin Dots line later in the game and gave up after 20 minutes. read more

My family had a beautiful night at the ball park. Fire works were a beautiful end to a great night. We bought tickets in the club house and had very nice view of the park and nice bar staff ready to assist.
